Martin's (the tattooist) artwork is lining the walls and every piece is as stunning as the next, showing his talents are just as amazing off the skin as on. Martine is the wife of Martin and handles the reception desk. She also does semi-pemament make up and as far as I'm aware, ear piercing. I was welcomed with such a warm attitude. So pleasant, professional and the type of person you could go in just to have a chat with. We've all experienced going into a tattoo parlour and being greeted by some stuck up git that gives the impression he doesn't have time to help you with piecing together your ideas (we're not all artists)! But I went here with a rough guideline and Martin helped me make it perfect. He gave ideas and advice so I wound up with a tattoo I'll be happy to show off for the rest of my life. I'm getting it finished pretty soon and can't wait to go back. He did the same for my partner and we couldn't be happier! He's a great guy to talk to and makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. He has examples of his work on Facebook so would strongly recommend checking him out. Prices are also affordable so all in all, quality work and better prices than most. It's a no-brainer really.

Robin did a great job though (my fears disappeared immediately when I saw some of his previous work, WOW!) He inked me up all lovely and what not so I have no complaints in that department. He was VERY professional and (thankfully) exact, I though after five times of placing the stencil that he'd get it right, but the guys only being precise, it is on me forever to be fair so I was pleased he was so particular about it. So it was here I went, my ink-free terrified skin ready to be marked for life, and from start to finish it was a great experience. OK, I can't say it was pain-free, it was a tattoo for goodness sake, but the guys were so friendly putting me at ease, and the place was spotless. I had designed my own and the artwork they did was fantastic, and every day I look at it I love it more. I've another idea in mind, and when I decide to go for it, I'll be back here. Probably still nervous, but not about BCS, just the actual drawing bit. I'm only human!

Apart from the pain of being tattooed for an hour-hour and a half i generally had a really good time. My tattoist was an amazingly funny romanian guy, who stopped half way through because his new shoes had just arrived and he had to see them - the joy of ebay! They charge by time here as opposed to design. I was charged £70 for the hour which was pretty decent. The place is very clean and hygenic with lots of interesting, Ed Hardy style artwork and they specialise in Tibetan and Japanese pieces. And yes, it does hurt :)

Before the fancy parlours and cafes began opening in Belfast, anyone from around the area would have came here, having heard of Snoopy's great reputation. He's not half bad at what he does. I've seen first hand various examples of his art work and I've been really impressed. The detail and consideration that he puts in to his work is something that many new tattooists these days should learn from. If you want anything done he'll always make sure you're 100% ready and positive this is what you want, and if he doesn't agree then he'll certainly say so. He isn't shy anyway!
