I have never said that in my life! The coaches at UA are top-notch professionals. They take their work seriously, celebrate with you, and are encouraging. I look forward to seeing the coaches -- they are energetic, friendly, supportive, and have taught me a tremendous amount. This contributes greatly to me staying motivated to keep coming back and improving. Getting a new program each month also helps stave off the typical boredom of a "regular" gym. Something else that was unexpected but great nonetheless -- there is a wide variety among UA's members (age, gender, physical shape, natural ability, etc.). Doctor Jin requested a follow-up appointment even before my test result was out. They should evalutate my test result first and then decide if a follow-up appointment is required. The follow-up appointment took less than 10 minutes and it cost $132.82 out of pocket. I was never told that the follow-up appointment would cost extra money. They didn't tell me why it was necessary to schedule the follow-up appointment. They don't care how much money the patient will pay! Not recommend!

I called their billing department, but they don't have a satisfactory explanation as to why I am being billed this amount. I did some research on this situation. If my test results were good, the doctor didn't make any medical decision. He was supposed to tell me the result by phone free of charge rather than requested a follow-up appointment which costed me $206.

No patient-care escalation. No concern for continuity of care. Just a denial. Healthcare, especially hormone and wellness care, is not something you can pause without real physical consequences. A legitimate medical practice understands this. NAVA does not. If you are looking for a clinic that treats you like a person rather than an account number, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This experience was expensive, stressful, and completely avoidable.

I did the "gut restore" program (which was very expensive) and saw no results. It was a three-month…read moreprogram that was supposed to help with digestive/gut issues. It included four 1-hour consults with a nutritionist and nothing else. The nutritionist--although very nice--gave me minimal advice about my diet/lifestyle, primarily suggesting I cut dairy and minimize gluten (I did), eat fermented foods, and take several expensive supplements (I did) that were an additional cost. Whenever I expressed that I wasn't feeling better she suggested I take more supplements. Throughout the experience, "health coaches" (sales reps) continually tried to sell me on membership packages or add-on services. I went into the experience very open-minded and eager for help, so I tried a membership and used it for several services, none of which were helpful. These included: a gut health IV, a gut health shot, and the worst massage I've ever had. For another additional cost I took a food sensitivity test, cut the foods that I was supposedly sensitive to, and still saw no results. Overall, the services were ineffective, the pricing was expensive and confusing, and the business practices felt predatory. Very disappointing.
