She changed the court date, not informing us until the day before. We were already on the flight to Alabama. Wasted thousands of dollars on the flight, hotel & rental car. Shannon was supposed to fight to have jurisdiction changed, as my daughter & grandson don't even live in Alabama & my grandson's father lives in Florida! Jurisdiction isn't in ALABAMA, it's either in Florida or California. But Shannon failed on that big time. With a lot of screw ups & ugliness, the divorce court date came. Sigh, what a mess. The judge had no respect for Shannon, dismissing everything she would say. She continually told my daughter, "the judge is going to take your son & give him to his father." This in turn panicked my daughter to make the horrible decision to move to Alabama (no job & new school for my grandson). This was/is not the best interest of my Grandson & Daughter, but Shannon didn't care, she was too worried about the judge & his distaste for her. The judge DOES NOT like Shannon, so there was no way for her to represent properly. I advise anyone with a complicated or even an easy case to STAY very clear of this attorney. She is a mess & will muck up your legal matters worse than she receives them.
