I had a stroke in 2020. I cannot walk, and my right arm is too weak to propel a manual wheelchair. Kaiser and Medicare arranged for me to get a Jazzy Air 2, which raises 14 inches.
That died 5 times in the first 2 years, and was out of commission for three months! So, i had to borrow some funds, and bought a new Pride 613 EV for $4000, just to have a backup for the Jazzy Air 2.
Three months after buying the 613, the right front caster wheel froze! I could only go in counterclockwise circles!
I brought it in to get repaired, as not only is it under the Pride warranty, but the California "Lemon Law" also covers motorized wheelchairs for a year.
Pride is now refusing to fix it! It will be $670, for a caster assembly that didn't even last 3 months!
I plan to let anyone who can read a review how sleazy this company is!
