I was amazed how kind, thoughtful, respectful and professional all of the staff and visiting staff were. My care was 100% perfect, I could not have asked for a better experience for my first surgery. Everything that they were going to perform on me was clearly explained and in no way rushed. I had the same experience for my pre-surgery tests and phone call. Everyone went out of their way to extend every courtesy to me. I thank all of the kind nurses and staff and the anesthesiologist who made my experience and recovery so much easier than I had ever anticipated.

They said yes but I came there every day and he was laying in bed with no clothes on. Their earthquake rating is a 2 Its posted in the lobby. Of course there are great nurses but in this case we never had one. Sad

The prep was tedious and not eating anything for almost two days was "Muyda", as James Cagney used to say. I arrived at the check in lobby before my appointment time of 12:45, repeating to myself that "if you are five minutes early you are already late". Too bad the doctors do not feel the same way, as I didn't get called in until two hours later. Once in, the nurses were all top notch. They explained the blow by blow and they were very nice. Since they are extremely busy, an assembly line if you will, the nurses are extremely focused at getting you ready and in. After putting on my ill-sized smock and the XL socks that had to me mediums, it wasn't long before they wheeled me in. Once in, we waited for the doctor and once he arrived the anesthesia was administered and I embarked to "La La Land". (Not the movie) When I woke up, I felt great. They didn't hit me too hard and I felt I could actually drive home but I didn't. The wait was horrendous but everything else was smooth as silk. A special shout out to Ashleigh & DR. Levy, who makes a great cocktail. Last but definitely not least, Cristina. She was basically floating around making sure to talk to most of the patients. She had a beautiful smile and her demeanor put me at ease. We even had some dialogue during my recovery, while I was waiting for my wife to retrieve me. This place is well run and organized but they might over book just a tad. If you know that going in, it will be a lot less frustrating.

Up front, the day before my surgery. I asked to set up a payment plan, and they refused. They said either I pay the $6,000 or cancel the much-needed surgery. It's okay, I just won't breathe... Only Rich people get care. Not the middle class... what do I pay for insurance for?

Dr. Anderson talks to you using terms the non-medical person can understand and has one of his medical assistants in the room typing notes into the system as he exams and speaks with you. I like that the doctor has two locations, one in Palm Springs and one in La Quinta, I personally visit the Palm Springs office, but it nice to know if I want to see & speak with the doctor and not the PA/NP I can make an appointment at either location.

Surprised to see the reviews talking about long waits and Dr. Anderson not caring about patients. I know 20 minutes is a long time in real world time but for a doctor appointment that's pretty much average if not quicker. Dr. Anderson is one of the friendliest I've encountered and he always listens at length to my updating him on my friends condition/s. I just turned 65 and not having a family doctor immediately chose Dr. Anderson. And also my friend takes multiple prescriptions and there has never once been an issue or delay getting one filled or a new one. Also never once any issues or delays getting referrals to see a specialist which my friend often needs. Also the staff is friendly and courteous.
