I have been looking for a reliable dog groomer since I returned to Forney. My experiences from some well known pet groomers in the area were less than Stella; however, my experience with the Pack Leader Mobile Grooming service was by far STELLA. I paid $32 dollars more than what I have ever paid for my fur baby, but what I desired for my fur baby is what I got, a full grooming that did not leave him looking a hot mess. Instead, John took time to calm my fur baby down by walking him and working with him to de-matt and care for his fur providing him with an even and smooth cut. I also appreciate John's patience by finding a time and day suitable for my schedule. This grooming service is Monday-Friday with no weekends. He also serves the Forney, TX area. John gave me some helpful tips to help me keep my fur baby's fur, which includes his tail, manageable. I highly recommend this dog grooming service if you are looking for top quality care for you fur baby. I am excited about my next appointment. I will work hard to ensure it is cheaper than this one by following up on John's grooming advice.

I'm a bit embarrassed that Neville is so difficult with strangers, so I was nervous bringing him to anyone and would avoid it until it was absolutely necessary. Then I found The Pack Leader. He takes the time to sit with Neville before starting anything. Neville never gets 100% comfortable during the sessions, but with each visit, he's getting better. Our first session took almost 3 hours. Today took less than 2! And he always looks great when I pick him up! I now have recurring appointments set up because we are so happy with The Pack Leader!

She takes really good care of her customers; she loves the dogs almost as much as we do. When I lost my first dog, she cried with me. Now, my two dogs know exactly where to go when we walk into the shop, and they come out looking so pretty. She really knows her dogs and has often pointed out areas of concern for me to have checked. If you are not a current customer, she can only take you by referral so she can continue to take great care of her current customers. Terrible...completely incompetent. We gave them multiple…read morechances since all the reviews are great... 1) Entered dogs name incorrectly - they spelled it as BISQUIT. We informed them it was spelled wrong and they 'corrected' it as BISKIT... 2) We brought a sample in containing a worm and asked them to look at it. They called back and informed us that the sample tested negative. We were confused and asked for clarification on what exactly was tested? They said they didn't find anything. We reiterated that we brought in a sample containing a worm so how would there not be anything found when a worm was in the sample? They said they would go check again, and called back and said 'yepp there's a worm and 3 parasites'... 3) Called and they were confused because there were two dogs with the same first name and last name but spelled differently. We informed them that yes, that was your staff that incorrectly spelled her name TWICE so they ended up making two separate accounts which lead to confusion on their end anytime we called... 3) Fast forward about 6 months later, we received email reminders for her checkup. We called to make an appt and was told there was no record for a Biscuit in their system.... so how are we receiving emails? We have been there 4 times how are there no records? Receptionist got extremely rude and kept asking 'are you sure this is the right vet?' after we informed her for the 3rd time this was the correct vet, we have been there multiple times, and you are the one sending us emails. We told her either name it could be under and she continued to tell us there was no record but that someone with our dog's name did have the same last name, but a different first name... the spouses name was also the same name we had given them...the same phone numbers and the same emails....but you couldn't 'find it' and had 'no record?'.... 4) Told them we are done with this vet and their incompetence, and asked them to send over her records which we still have yet to receive.

My cat is the most calm cat you could imagine he is so sweet and friendly with everyone and both times ive gotten him back from his "paws up" grooming that he's been extremely skidding and timid of everything around him. They cut my cats whiskers which is known world wide as a BIG NO. As if the service isn't pricey enough i cannot believe they treat animals as if they are toys. When i called to ask why his whiskers were cut i was given the pathetic excuse that it was an "accident". How do you even get a job in a his position to take care of people's babies if you aren't going to do it properly or treat them like your own. My cat is scarred from this experience and i will NOT be returning to this negligent grooming spot and i wouldn't recommended it to anyone who cares about the well being of their pets , especially if you don't want their behavior to DRASTICALLY change in the few hours from when you drop them off to pick them up.

Let's just get that tiny detail out of the way. I have a big ol' 19 pound kitty who needs (and loves) a good haircut from time to time. He's long hair and I can just tell when he's hot and uncomfortable. In the summer I get his hair cut, in a lion cut, and I can never tell if he's strutting 'round because he thinks he looks handsome or stupid. But with the pom-pom tail, big hairy mane and boots with the furrrrrr, he just can't be beat. Now that we've moved to Rockwall I keep trying to find replacements for all my "best of" list I've used for years in Dallas. I'm picky and not going to let just any ol' gal with hair trimmers touch my kitty. I got her card from the Vet and kept it, knowing I'd need it some day. Once the summer heat set in, I made an appointment. Ozzy got his pill, was amply tranquilized and got his hair cut. She honestly did an awesome job. He's struttin' around, lookin' good and feelin' fine. She only took about 2h (would have gone quicker had he not cheeked his first dose of ACE), and he was back home drunk and sassy quick. She does dogs too, and I'm sure she'll do a great job on your pet. Give her a call! I'm very happy.

I was a regular customer (2 years) until they almost blinded my dog! This was in December of 2023…read more I dropped off my dog for her regular groom. I told the groomer that my pup had a cyst removed 14 days ago just over her eye (the vet cleared Marley to get groomed and said it had healed " beautifully") and to "please avoid that area". The groomer did the opposite... i picked up and my poor dog couldn't open her eye. I spoke to the manager and she said that "they must have gotten some soap in her eyes". I was told by the "manager" that an and all vet bills would be covered. After an emergency vet visit and $700 later. My dog had an ulcer Over 3/4 of cornea and the vet said there was "substantial amount of soap in her eye". I call the owner either Tim or Tom and he refused to reimburse me for my vet bills and completely dodged all my Follow up calls. Shitty customer service!! if you value the health of your dog, do not take them here!!
