The menu is equally well-designed, covering pretty much every taste preference. Similarly, Stan & Co sports a varied and inspired wine (we had a lovely rosé and pinot noir) and (local) beer selection. The food doesn't disappoint in its taste or creativity. Though a tad too heavy on the coconut, their curry was tasty and contained a nice mix of veggies (not enough sweet potato). Their chicken wings were well-made as well, featuring pieces of chorizo for an occasional burst of flavor. It's unfortunate that the menu didn't mention either the coconut or the fact that the chicken was wings/legs, but that's a small omitted blemish on an otherwise great experience (their service is attentive and congenial). In short, Stan & Co is in idea that was well thought out and carefully constructed.

And although the food itself is of good quality and prepared with taste, the overall experience was a bit disappointing. Although the restaurant was not fully booked the waiting staff had great difficulty with keeping focussed on their task. They lacked accuracy and speed (unfortunately) and from the my point of view, we weren't the only table experiencing this. Although the first drinks were brought promptly it took 3 times before I received the requested carton to level our table out properly. When we ordered it took 20 minutes before the bread was served and after 1,5 hour we only consumed the starter and the main course was just being served (that's too long!). When most tables had left, one of the girls set down at the bar and the tempo was completely gone. The check went within reasonable time limits though :-). Complete shame because the basics are good. They should keep in mind that even though it might be a sunday, good service never has a day off!!
