Today, a representative from Presto came over to replace my rear passenger window on my 2020 Hyundai Sonata. Just two words.... "Excellent Service"!!! .. I used them 2 years ago tp replace my windshield & they did a perfect job! And he finished the job within the hour. No joke - you need a auto window replaced? These are the people to go to!! After a break in my neighbor recommended this place. He said they are pros and do a great job and clean up well afterward. They came on time but where sort of unprofessional and did a really poor job of cleaning up the glass. I asked them if they would vacuum up the rest of it because I often have dogs in the car, but the request was met with minor reluctance and not really followed up on. Then I had to clean up the glass on the street and sidewalk because they just didn't bother. While I was doing this, they asked my husband for tip. This is not done in the auto glass industry. Especially not for two guys doing such a horrible job. It cost $300 for this. After they left, I found a ton more glass in the seat fold on the passenger side. I ended up paying another $45 to get my truck cleaned inside and out. I called Presto the next day and the man who answered said it was a secondary company they sent out because they had some delay. Nobody told me about the change. I asked what company they used and he wouldn't tell me. He ignored my question and promised to tell the manager and have them call me back. That was almost two weeks ago. They never called. Maybe it was a different company but the way Presto Glass handle it, really sucked. $345 and a wasted 4 hours later is not a decent service. read more

My car got broken into over the weekend and being that most auto-glass places are closed over the weekend, I was worried I would not be able to get my window replaced before work on Monday. I reached out to Presto Auto Glass and they were able to get someone to come by my home on Monday morning before work started! Not having to drive to an auto glass shop, with shattered glass all over my car was so convenient. The service was really fast and the technician who fixed my window was very kind. Getting your car broken into really sucks, but Presto Auto Glass replaced my window in the most ideal way. I highly recommend using them! read more

So I drive from Sacramento to the Bay Area all the time and I have gone through 2 windshields this year alone. The drive from Sacramento to Fremont is not too bad for me, but it's a whole different story for my windshield. To make a long story short, I had a chip that had spidered out into a full blown crack across the front windshield and it required replacement pronto. I remembered the pleasant experience I had last time around with Presto Auto Glass and decided to use them again. Here is why: Last time (almost a year ago), they replaced my windshield and it seemed fine. After a few days I started to notice defects (swirls) in the glass. I called Presto Auto Glass thinking I would have to go back and forth about these swirls and convince someone about getting the glass replaced...but that didn't happen. The guy on the phone scheduled an appointment for next day and swapped the windshield out for a new one. I was impressed. They made good on their word and sold me on returning to them. This time I called I set up an appointment for next day in the morning. Arturo came out, called me 15 min prior, and was able to get the glass replaced in 30 minutes. I forked over some extra cash for new moldings that go around the glass (which has really kept the noise down) and also had my windshield wipers replaced. December rains can put a damper on your driving. I figured I really wouldn't take the time to do it myself, so might as well get it done. Arturo finished everything in less than an hour and I paid him with my debit card (personal checks not accepted). The service was great and as expected. read more

I had a big crack on the passenger side portion of my windshield (Toyota Corolla), I called Presto Auto Glass to have it replaced. I had an appointment the same day. Unfortunately the new windshield they installed had a defect (most likely manufacturing defect). I took me A LOT of effort, numerous phone calls and three additional appointments (for two appointments, no one showed up !!!) to finally have this defective windshield replaced after 8 days. Although the technician could not find the address the two times he came (it was the same address), his job was super clean and fast. Overall that company showed very poor communication and customer support. No compensation or apologies were offered in regards of the delays or missed appointments. read more

When my window shattered, thought this would be a big hassle. I called them at 6 pm and they came out and replaced the window by 11 am next morning. Evrn vacuumed out the glass from the car and swept it off the street. I was very impressed with their fast service, quality work, and reasonable price. Highly recommended! Fun factoid: original the company was called Presto-Chango Auto Glass and Diaper Service. After a bitter divorce, the company was split and Presto Auto Glass was born. Ever since magicians have used the phrase Presto-Chango when about to should an unusual development. read more

after postponing the appointment in the morning due to their tech's car accident, we rescheduled for later in the day (a Friday on a holiday w/e). Friendly service until it wasn't. The tech then was a "no show" & when I called a couple times to determine when to expect the repair after waiting all day, I was brushed off. Left another message but never called back; still waiting for that status call & the repairman 3 days later. sorry, won't use them again. read more

I took a rock from a gravel truck and spider cracked my front window. Right in my eye line. My car has less than 4,000 miles. I was sick.. I called Alex and he and his partner came out within the hour. He reviewed the damage and provided an estimate to fix the large chip. I expressed some concern with it being a larger mark directly in my line of sight. He was honest before he started and told me there would still be a small mark, but the cracks would not grow to destroy my window. He made the repair within about 15 minutes. Turned out better than I could have expected. there was a small visible mark. But nothing like it was. I am very happy with Alex and his crew. We were on vacation in the Bay area in July 2018, we stopped at a local store and someone busted the driver side door window looking for any valuables. (This happened at 10pm). I found their web site that night and setup an appointment for the next morning at 11:00am. I got a call the next morning at 10:00am to confirm they had the OEM glass. They showed up at 11:00am and were finished within an hour. VERY professional service. Cleaned up ALL the glass shards that were all over the vehicle. read more
