However, the biggest challenge with this location is the efficiency of the check-in and check-out process. There is no dedicated front-desk person, which means the sugaring and waxing specialists are doing everything, performing services, answering phones, checking in clients, checking out clients, and managing walk-ins. Because of this, the wait times before and after the appointment are consistently extended, even when the staff is doing their best. The specialists themselves are great, but it's almost impossible for them to give a fully hands-on, focused experience when they're simultaneously trying to run the entire front-of-house. I understand wanting to cut costs, but the administrative side of the experience is too important to overlook. Even a part-time receptionist or intern would make a huge difference in the flow and overall customer experience. I genuinely like this location, but whether I return will depend on whether they improve this operational inefficiency. If you're in a rush or need a quick, smooth in-and-out appointment, this may not be the ideal location for you at the moment. I hope they consider adjusting their staffing model, because the specialists themselves are wonderful. I had Kenzie before and she was amazing but no longer here as of last month. The wax didn't hurt & left minimal redness. She offered a cooling agent or moisturizer when she was done & I declined. I never do because I'm always concerned about an allergic reaction so out of caution I always decline. I don't have any personal experience with their products beyond the wax. Truly, the redness wasn't that bad & went away fairly quickly. It's cashless checkout which is fine as that seems to be the way most places are going these days. I was given the sales pitch for buying a package of waxes. It's not a monthly subscription, simply a package of waxes. I declined not because it wasn't a reasonable price for the packages but because I'm really bad about going in consistently to anywhere that isn't the eyebrow threading place in Surprise that I'm used too. My eyebrows don't grow enough to go every 4 weeks & I don't want to go to have like 6 hairs waxed from each eye. Maybe one day I'll be a better adult & make consistent appointments. For now, this will have to do & I'm happy to know this place is close to me, has convenient hours, & reasonable prices. I would go back but not sure when.
