The food is great the service is great! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the size, the place is really small and doesn't sit a lot of people maybe 30 or 40 at most. Being that small it's really loud when there's a full house. That said everything we've ate there (breakfast several times) was wonderful! They also have drinks like Bloody Mary, mimosas and margaritas. I love their mocha latte and get one every time. My suggestion is that I would try going at an off time when it's not so crowded. We came here for Breakfast. Fortunately, we had reservations so when we arrived we were immediately seated. Our server got our drinks and took our orders. Basic breakfast, overnight oats, Florentine omelet and Croque Madame. Everything was delicious. The Croque Madame was not a traditional one, so they were a bit surprised. Still tasted good but would probably not order it again. The Florentine omelet was excellent. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. The only downside is the food did not all come out at the same time. The menu as a whole isn't huge, so it is limited for available options. The space is smaller, so dining can feel intimate to your neighbors. I found after several visits, staff will be working behind the counter while multiple tables sit empty waiting to be cleaned, with diners waiting to be seated. I didn't get many pics but the huevos rancheros (Christmas style) took me back to New Mexico from the first bite. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It's part brunch dining, part coffee bar and part cocktail bar. This menu is relatively simple which means they know their ingredients and what they serve is cooked well. They have Avocado Toast on the menu which isn't anything extraordinary for any restaurant nowadays but it's a vegan and gluten-free menu item which can't be easy to find. Since I'm not vegan I opted to omit the vegan ranch (I just don't like ranch dressing that much to begin with) and asked to add a fried egg on top. It was phenomenal. They actually put an entire avocado on it - such a great deal for what I paid. They also seem to have incredible coffee drinks but I've been dealing with acid reflux lately so I opted for herbal tea which was very good. Definitely don't skip over their tea selections. The service was pretty good. I sat at the bar and the staff gave me both space and were available when I needed something. I think what impressed me most was the overall design of the bar. They had a boatload of storage for all their items, shelves for display, a moving ladder (think of the library in Beauty & the Beast) and lots of fridge space below. My partner and I decided to try this place for a Valentine's Day brunch today. The food was delicious! I had the Press and Plow Breakfast with Gluten Free Toast and he had the breakfast burrito (not pictured) and a pancake. My mimosa was delicious too, just the right amount of oj and champagne. They were very accommodating to the swaps for gluten free and the staff was friendly. The only reason I selected four stars vs five is because the seats at the high top tables where we sat were incredibly uncomfortable. We both had to shift a lot while we we trying to eat because the seats hurt and got up to numb legs from sitting at them. We will definitely be back again, we just may ask for a different table next time. read more

I do love the food here. However, their front of house could use some work. They do not have a hostess and you have to wait too long to even be acknowledged to be seated even in their slow times. I only v tried their lattes but it's one of better ones I've tried lately. I must say handcrafted coffees from local shops are far superior to chains and this shop is one of the handcrafted ones. I got the butterscotch latte, and butterscotch is always a more delicate flavor but I was able to taste coffee and butterscotch which is a total score. Apparently they serve brunch everyday so I know I have to come back and try it again. The employees were friendly. BUT, today, for the FOURTH TIME I was turned away because they were "closing early" at 2pm (mind you, I was trying to dine ALONE at 10:30AM...) and they were shutting down 3/4 of their dining room WITH A LINE OUT THE DOOR. They instructed me that I could sit outside, which is a no, as I had my newborn son with me. It was too warm to do that. It's disappointing to me that a restaurant that is so popular continues to lose business because of the staff and the way that they run their operation. Total Surprise! We were on the waitlist for another place when we realized they had brunch. We decided to check it out and I am so happy we did! The staff is so gracious, kind and tries to help everyone who comes in quickly. The food was cared for in a way that most brunch services will never know. The mushrooms are seared, well seasoned and have some white wine. Who cares that much about mushrooms for brunch!!? They do. All of the proteins were seasoned well, seared or roasted properly. What a fun and quiet place for brunch, coffee or drinks! Ideal for parties of 4 or less as seating is limited with the largest table. Everything just Medes well. The Huevos Rabcheros Waac on point! I would say it is probably some of the best I have had in the past couple of years. Bold flavors, a good amount of heat but didn't leave me feeling heavy. Perfection. I followed up brunch with the coffee special graham cracker latte. Definitely a dessert drink. My daughter tried it and liked it. Tasted all the flavors of a 'smore. The downsides: the largest table top is a 4 person, they didn't have a liight blend coffee and they forgot my wife's jam; they did bring it when promoted and apologized repeatedly.
