Great place to do business with.fast shipping, product is good and as described. Worry free!!

Fast shipping and great customer service. I will definitely do business again. AAAAA+++++

I ordered a bunch of ammo but found two boxes missing. I emailed their support team and Derrick looked into the issue and realized they made a mistake. They sent another shipment with what was missing. Ordering online can be a little stressful for the buyer when a situation like this occurs and a waste of 50 bucks would have definitely been irritating. I'm happy they resolved the issue. read more

This was my first time doing business with Prepper, so there was that fear of the unknown. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I was totally satisfied with the ease of the transaction and the real time communication at every step of the process. They were very professional and the most important reason for the transaction.....the price was extremely competitive compared to other online retailers for the same item. read more

best service. The customer service and shipping times were beyond belief! will 100% be using them more in the future

Ive had multiple firearms purchased and shipped from Prepper Gun Shop. Super fast shipping and good communications. It's so nice for them to include a "CA legal" session on their website where i dont have to double check on all the items for CA compliance. folks who answered my phone call and talked to me thru their website live chat were super nice and informative. their pricings are very competitive and reasonable as well. all the firearms i got from them turned out to be less expensive than all my local stores even with FFL transfer fees and shipping fees added. I am definitely coming back for more firearms. I would highly recommend this store to my fellow CA firearm customers. read more

Ordered 10 boxes of ammo at a great price and very reasonable shipping. Was shipped Fedex and received timely updates from PGS on the delivery status. Very happy and recommend and will use this company again. Excellent service all the way around!!! read more

Not happy at all. Ordered my AR-15 April 30th and it was confirmed. Was supposed to be sent 3 to 5 business days. Still haven't received any tracking number and spoke to Ms Lisa yesterday and was told it was to be sent out yesterday in my email. Was going to cancel the order but was told it was a 6% restock fee on a item that didn't even leave the store or anything. We could have spent $50 more and purchased it in a store near us and had it the same day. Will not buy again from here and won't recommend them even though Ms Lisa was friendly and fast to respond through email any questions we had. Only question she couldn't or wouldn't answer is when we were to receive our tracking number or our AR-15. read more

Have used Prepper Gun Shop on two occasions and have found them to be great. Actually answers their phone which is unusual these days, helpful, honest, courteous and patient which means a great deal. Prices are very competitive and even less than others, selection is very good and shipping has been pretty quick. But, again, the service is the most important thing these days and I plan on going there first for all my future purchases. read more

They gave me gummy bears with my gun and i want everyone to know the level of service here is top notch

Bought weapons and other items from Prepper. Always super quick shipping, great communication and I have always been pleased with what I got. No buyers remorse here. It's interesting how issues seem to always come from people out of California. I would hate to be in the biz and have to deal with that BS and the rules of that forsaken place. Thank gosh living in AZ makes the process so smooth for everyone. Thanks again guys for great service and making me feel confident in my purchases. read more

I had wanted to place an order for some accessories for my CZ Scorpion. I wanted to know who they used to ship their products. I did not want to use Fed-Ex (I have had 2 packages recently from them say they were delivered, but were not). So, I talked to Amy and she said they use Fed-Ex or USPS and once I placed the order I could request who I wanted. I placed my order and immediately requested the USPS. My order arrived 1 day before it was supposed to and everything was packaged nicely and in excellent shape. Also in the box was a small bag of Gummi Bears. This is what customer service is all about. I will use Prepper in the future for sure do to the fact that they go above and beyond. Amy, you rock (management, give her a raise). Thanks John read more

But a SAM7SF for $100 mark up for the $60 CA compliant Compmag and you steal the factory 10 round mag! Slow shipping, high prices, and poor customer service to boot! Thanks Prepper! read more

Updated review - Prepper customer service made things right. Prepper reached out and apologized for an internal miscommunication within the company regarding their exchange policy. Their General Manager went above and beyond to ensure the error was corrected and followed up continually throughout the process of the exchange. I feel reassured that this was truly an exception rather than the norm. Very happy with the item received and they have definitely earned this customer back. read more

Nothing but great things to say about this company. I live in Houston, Tx and firearm stores are every where. I buy my firearms and ammo from Prepper because you get top quality service from questions about the firearms, to buying them, and to shipping your product. Visit their site and ask them questions about their products with no pressure to buy. I personally deal with Zach and will continue to give them my business. read more

I bought my first gun from their website online, and the process was very smooth. Any questions that I had were answered very quickly by e-mail, and their list of FFL's was very convenient. The gun shipped and arrived at my local FFL very, very quickly (this was my first gun purchase online, so I'm not sure what the usual times are). Their prices seem to be very good as well. The firearm I was looking at was $150 more than what Prepper Gun Shop was selling it for. Very happy with the service and price. Definitely check these guys out! read more

The best ordering experience to date. This was the easiest, no hassle, no questions, firearm purchase I have ever made along with super fast delivery to my FFL. PGS has very competitive pricing and great service. I was notified every step of the way, from the time of purchase, to processing to shipping. I will definitely be ordering from them again read more

Awesome site and selection but beware of the email notification bait and switch pricing. Special low price offered in email when I click on the link higher sale price. Customer service (Zach) was pleasant but would not honor the special price in the email. Why send a email with a special price and a link to purchase with a higher price. Seems like bait and switch pricing to me! read more

I'm from California so there are some extra unnecessary hurdles with any online gun purchase, but with Prepper Gun Shop everything went smoothly and I received my gun without any problems. I plan on buying again soon. read more

I recommend this place 100%. Customer service was outstanding. Derrick made this happen as it did. The transaction was not only seamless but quick. They made my rifle California compliant and expedited the transfer. Pricing was on par with the lowest on the internet. They had a wide selection of firearms. I am absolutely buying from here again. read more

What a sick bunch of incompetent and unprofessional people. Do not be fooled by the approach. These people want your money so I wouldn't make sense for them to be down right evio from the start. They start friendly, like they want to do you a favor for bringing them business. Once you've given them a credit card number, all honesty and integrity goes out the window. I called to cancel an order, first verifying that I hadn't reached the point where they charge a processing fees. They have a lot of fees they can charge, lots of information hidden in their terms and conditions, some of which isn't so much hidden but more of it's just not listed at all, but they expect the customer to understand they have policies. After negotiations took place, me and a representative settled on an agreeable exchange. The order was processed and shipped. Once it arrived, none of the original charges were reversed. They charged me the original price even though I called and spoke at length to a representative about their price match policy. I contacted them to try and get this fixed and was met by the most oafish and unintellectual individuals I've had the displeasure of conversing with. Derrick proceeded to hound me for answers like, what was the name of the employee I spoke to? What other vendors offered a lower price? He was just way way too comfortable treating people like dirt so I decided to send the items back and eat the fee. Supposedly the package I sent them via FedEx never made it to them. They are claiming it never made it to FedEx to begin with but with everything that has happened, I'm sure Derrick just pocketed the funds. No one should do business with greaseball used car salesman like this Derrick guy. Only spoke to two staff members verbally, only one was nice. Emailed communication between at least Derrick and two other staff, all of which were terse, rude, condescending, accusing and dishonest. I would not trust this company with anything that had my name on it. You'll save yourself so much time and frustration if you just buy from a reputable and honest business. Don't waste your time here. read more
