DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Went to go look at cars here a few months back when I was looking for a pre-owened, but reliable car. I was considering a Honda Accord they had, but was really unsure, and just wanted to get an approximate monthly payment based on my credit score (which I know). He said they couldn't do ANYTHING until they had all of my information, and I repeatedly refused to give him my SSN because I wasn't sure, but then finally caved because he said they couldn't do ANYTHING until I filled out some paperwork. I asked him not to run my credit but for finance just to figure out some numbers because I wasn't sure and didn't want my credit to be run at all. I left after he agreed to that... then it got bad. The next day, the salesman called me constantly, texted me, begging me to go back there to buy a car. He told me that my credit went through and we would be able to proceed with the payment price I was looking for. I made it very clear that I wasn't sure yet and still wanted to look around and thanked him for his help. The texts and calls didn't stop until I threatened to tell the police that he was literally harassing me. Fast forward a couple weeks later... I began getting letters in the mail from banks saying that my loan application was denied. It had the name of the dealership on it and everything, so I knew it came from them. Over the course of about three months, I received over 20 letters in the mail from banks saying that my credit was denied. On September 20th 2014 we had purchased a 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 VIN # 1J4GL48K82W269439 with 167,660 miles on dash. My salesperson was Eric and business manager was Shawn. During the process, I asked about a warranty and was told 30 days 1000 miles. I inquired about an extended warranty and was told that they didn't offer one with this vehicle because it was not worth it given price of the vehicle. Seemed weird but what did I know, we just assumed that the lender would not offer it. So on the same day we took delivery of the vehicle and noticed there were several problems that needed to be resolved even before we left the dealership The issues were as follows: Drivers seat was broken Rear passenger door handle broken Noisy differential (grinding and banging sounds Intermittent) Hard Shift from drive to park With these issues at hand, we made an appointment to bring the truck back to have these issues repaired. When the truck was returned to me the next day, the rear door was fixed. The seat, I was informed, needed to be ordered. I was also told the tech said that the banging and grinding noise was "just a jeep thing". I came back about a week later to have the seat fixed. I dropped off vehicle only to receive a call back at the end of the day saying "they sent us the wrong seat". This now goes on for almost a month. Repeat phone calls and voicemails were left without a reply. Finally, after Richard accepted a job with Tasca Cranston, he asked his trainer for guidance on the channels to follow in order to have these issues addressed. After a few different problems including the heating system and several visits to Tasca Nissan for repairs STRONG concern about this vehicle had arose. I had inquired at that point about them simply taking the vehicle back and placing me in a vehicle that worked properly. Instead Mike insisted on repairing the vehicle. While at Nissan, I asked for a history on the vehicle and repair orders which I still hold in my possession. Fast forward over the next few months, the vehicle has been towed on 3 different occasions by AAA. The 3rd time was literally the day after we received it back from Nissan service following the 2nd time it was towed, where they had it for a week and we were assured the vehicle was properly functioning. The oil as well as the check engine light came on during the ride home from Nissan and unfortunately the service department was closing by the time I picked it up so I couldn't turn around to return it. By the next morning it would no longer drive resulting in the 3rd tow. The time after that we made it to the Gano street exit and had to turn around because the oil light came back on again. As you can see, this has been a constant cycle of the same issues over and over. After several returns for repairs, at least 8 different times, the vehicle currently has less than 3200 miles since day of purchase. The last time it was brought in for service, John D said "I can't with this piece of shit truck. I don't even want to see it, bring it to Nissan and let them deal with it" Now we are in the midst of a terrible winter and this lovely Jeep Liberty 4x4 is down once again. This time the Drivetrain differential is grinding, 4x4 will not engage, the brake light & abs light are on with the speedometer and odometer no longer registering. These issues all relate back the initial concerns I had when I first purchased the vehicle and was told there nothing was wrong with it. I am quite upset that I paid off this vehicle in December and can not drive it again because I was sold a lemon. I am disappointed that I originally purchased this Jeep, whole heartedly believing that since it was a certified Tasca vehicle that I would have a safe and reliable vehicle. At this point I need to get this vehicle fixed once and for all or need to replace this vehicle. It is not fair to a consumer to have to go through all of these issues. If you're looking to buy a preowned car, DO NOT COME HERE. I came from New York, and it took them a month and a half for them to get my registration. So they rented a car from Enterprise, but I had to put my credit card down. When my car was finally registered, my card was charged and they said they'd fix it. I go get my car inspected, and the power steering hose has a gash and a zip tie to try to keep it closed. They denied that it was their fault. I had to pay for it. It was only until I threatened to sue them that they reimbursed me for $1800 for the car rental and over $700 for the failed inspection. This took them another month and a half. Months later, my car was making lots of noise. The catalytic converter was shot and there was two exhaust leaks. Soon after that, there was an oil leak. And recently, I had to get both my front struts replaced because the plastic was tearing off of it. I'm not the first person to get a car with problems from this place. Because of their stupidity and greed, they hurt my credit score and I have spent thousands of dollars on repairs that I didn't have to. Go to one of your huge, local dealerships. They may be more expensive, but is definitely worth it. That's what I'm doing. read more

I bought a car here 6 months ago, June '15. I had noticed at the time that the front right tire was low on my first test drive of what is now my '07 Nissan Maxima. I pointed that out, along with the TPMS light being on. My second test drive, the tire looked better, but the light was still on.I got in writing that this would be fixed along with a few other cosmetic fixes (the visors needed replacing, which also was only half fixed). The car was brought to Tasca for service, and even though I specifically mentioned the right front tire, I was told the problem was the left rear tire. The TPMS light was no longer on, so I figured they must have been right. They didn't even check the other tires. The TPMS light came back on the day after service. In the 6 months that I've had the car, I've filled that right front tire twice. And last night, the tire finally blew out, unfortunately. When bringing the car to Tasca for service, I was treated like an fool, and they tried to tell me the blowout was because I over-inflated the tire and/or that I hot a pot-hole. The blown seam is smooth and clean, and along about half the tire. This was most definitely caused by under-inflation. Someone failed to properly inspect the tires on my car, and now I'm paying the price for it, at my family mechanic's garage. My advice for anyone looking at cars here is to not be fooled by the fantastic customer service before the sale. If you detect any problem with the car before buying, insist on it being fixed, or simply don't buy it at all. While I love my Nissan, I'm at a point that I wish I had never bought it, at least, not from here. read more

Seems as though everyone else has had the experience I am in the midst of having myself. Less than 2 weeks ago I brought home a 2006 PT Cruiser from the Tasca PreOwned in Attleboro MA. Before I even paid for the car there were a few things wrong that needed to be fixed. 1. The panel where the radio was had this spot on it that looked melted and needed to either be replaced or sanded and repainted. 2. Needed new tires in front. 3. Pistons holding up the rear door needed to be replaced. 4. AC condenser kept attempting to kick on, making the engine Idle oddly. Was told by my bf who has been working on cars since he was a kid that it just means that it needs to be recharged. They supposedly fixed everything. However, they CHARGED my dad, who paid straight out of pocket for the dealer price of the low pro tires for the car, for the mounting and balancing, none of which was mentioned. The panel was sanded (horrible job done might I add) and painted. The pistons were fixed. And they CLAIMED that the AC was charged. But the condenser keeps kicking on, making it idle weird. The guy keeps telling me, that its supposed to do that. A couple days later, I noticed a few more things. 5. like the rear wipers didn't work 6. the dial for the defrost was put on wrong 7. and the driver's side mirror flap was broken and kept falling off, leaving the light on because there was no flap to cover it. 8. And the AC I felt was not charged, condenser was still kicking on... Brought it back on a thursday evening, and advised them i would be in VT from that night to Sunday. And I would be back Sunday to pick it up. I figured that would give them AMPLE time to get all of that fixed. Sunday comes around, I was aware that the service dept was closed but figured there would be a record of some sort about my car. Nope. Nothing. Communication completely lacks between departments at this piece of sh*t place. She calls the service guy at home, because he couldn't be bothered to call and leave a message at all about what was going on, and he doesn't pick up. The lady says she is unsure if the car is done, and I said what a bout a loaner, I have to get to work somehow don't I? She said they can't do that. I call back about an hour later, ask her to call him again, and the line cuts off, I lose service. Call back and she says car is all set to pick up. I go pick up my car, the wipers are fixed, as is the dial. AC still condensing... he INSISTS ITS BC IT HAS A SMALL ENGINE AND A BIG CONDENSER.... But the mirror flap was not fixed. I called the next day, and he said they had to order the part. I said OK well i work during the week, do you have any idea when the part will be in. He said sometime this week. I said ok, well what time is the service open. He said Until 5pm. I said well how am I going to bring the car in, he stated rudely that this was a courtesy because its not mechanical and that they didn't have to do this for me and to find my own way to get the car in and there would be no loaner. Ruuuuude staff.... Anyways.... This morning I was on my way to work, smithfield to east greenwich, its a drive for me. The whole point of getting a new car was to get one that was RELIABLE... Car started smoking at a stop light this am. SMOKING. Are you freaking serious. All of my dealings with this place have made me so wary, at this point I am bringing the freaking car back and they are trading me a new one. Fu*k this. I am gonna call today, and they are gonna tow the car there and give me a loaner to use until I can get there to get another car. And if they try to insist on fixing it, I will ask them to reneg the loan and I will fuckin* go somewhere else.... OH AND YES THEY BADGER THE HELL OUT OF YOU AND BOTHER BOTHER BOTHER YOU TO BUY THE CAR AND THEN WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. read more

I wish I had taken the time to do my homework more than I thought I had already done. The car I got has been great but the service from Al Khoury has been nothing but horrendous. I have been given the worst customer service and utter run around when my issue could have been resolved from minute one. Now the interest on my AWFUL loan that I was encouraged to take is racking up and he doesn't care and there is 'nothing' he can do for 90 days. Why is that? Probably needs to make sure his commission for getting me to finance through them goes through. This place is a joke NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. I love my car but this dealership is just another place filled with lies. Upon picking up my car I purchased from them THEY FORGOT TO FILL IT WITH OIL after an oil change. I found some nice metal shavings when I changed it the next time that I'm sure took some life off the engine. Upon further reviewing my vehicle they lied about the engine model and I immediately had to change the timing belt (a $1100 job) due to the mileage and fear of a $3k+ repair. When driving my vehicle home (about 25 miles) the check engine light popped on signaling an emissions problem and I needed to put in a new O2 sensor. I assume they were just clearing the codes each day so it didn't pop on when someone was test driving it. The staff was beyond rude when I went back for them to finish the paperwork and registration. Once you are off the lot they do not care. Just another reason to avoid Tasca. read more

These guys suck. None of their cars A/C compressors work. They literally trash their demo cars and then resell. They force you to buy warranty, force you to sign paperwork. Then when warranty claims come around, the GM tim or whatever being SO unprofessional, brings it to a jiffy lube to get warranty work done and wont give you the work order because he doesnt want you to find out he was lying about where the work was done. My wife totaled our van on an icy road. We decided to go shopping for a newer model. I found an ad in a free car magazine at the library and decided to check it out at 7 pm on a rainy tuesday evening. I drove the van and we both loved it. The price was right and it only needed a few minor things to get it up to par. Randy was our salesperson, and was a friend to us every step of the way. They took care of EVERY issue we had, and got us on the road in our new 07 Odyssey. This dealership and this salesperson are A+ in my book. Highly recommended! read more

I hate this company I bought a 2005 Ford explorer Eddie bauer edition they had 2 on the lot same color they swapped the vehicle I bought with the other explorer. I financed this SUV for $8495.00 and with in a year I had to put in $3000.00 worth of work in it to pass inspection the underneath of the truck was completely shot needed new brakes sway bar, cylinders, bearings, rotors . Then a year after that the truck had only 115,000 miles on it had to.replace transmission another $3500.00 and then a month after that the entire computer went on the truck another $3000.00. My husband and I spent more money on this toilet than what its worth. I still have 9 more months to pay on it as I only bought it so I could increase my credit! I would never recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from pre owned factory backed by tasca! More like backed by a junk yard. Sleaze ball company and the car never was serviced before we bought it like they said they did they lied. NEVER BUY A VEHICLE THERE EVER! UNLESS TOU WANT TO PAY OVER $15,000 ON A PIECE OF CRAP! My experience at the Pre-Owned Factory Auto Sales was one of the WORST experiences I've ever had, regarding any type of business transaction! So many issues in such little time, it's really a shame. Well let me start at the beginning first of all I have been looking for used 2006 Lexus's LS 430's and 07 460's for about a month, on various car advertising websites, they'er particular vehicle hit my radar so I figured I would like to check it out further. I make an appointment to see the vehicle on the weekend(Saturday), everything is fine, until I get there, I should have known things were not going to be good, because they advertised a Tan/Beige interior which was one of my main preferences, but the vehicle actually had a gray interior. I did mention that to the salesman but he shrugged it off like it was not a big deal, but the car looked to be in good shape other than that so i decided to test drive it anyways. Drive was good, so I decided maybe if they come down with the price a little I could sacrifice not having the tan interior and go ahead and buy the car. After a swift negotiation, the salesman agreed to $500.00 of the asking price. so we shook hands and it looks like everything was going to be fine. He would mention how customer service is top priority and they are going to take care of me(?) yeah ok. I asked him what would be a reasonable time the car would ready for pick-up, he said "I need the check before we can do anything, the sooner you get me the check the quicker everything goes". so I suggested next Saturday, and we agreed on that.Well he suggested a deposit of $500.00 and I wrote him a check for that amount. and left the car lot feeling good. Once I got home I realized that I owe excise tax, so I went online to pay and WOW! I owe a lot more than I thought, and I knew I could not get that car registered without taking care of that bill. I also realize that I did not have enough in my bank account to cover the down payment/deposit and the excise tax. So I called the dealership back the next day (Sunday) and asked for my salesman (John), but he was not in so a gentleman named "Chris" who said he was the Manager also said he could help me. Cool, so I explained to him that I'm going to have to cancel that check and if they could please NOT cash the check that would be awesome, I did explain to Chris that I was going to call my bank and cancel the check, and we could just add the $500.00 to the purchase agreement and I could finance it with the rest of the amount. He said "no problem, we could do that, and reprinted a new sales agreement and emailed it to me. The next day (Monday) I call my Bank and make arrangements to cancel that check, and also finalize everything with my bank, who is giving me the loan, and the check for the car. (Tuesday) I check my Bank account and the dealership actually cashed the deposit check! My bank made a mistake and put a stop on the wrong check, but they fixed it immediatley. I then tried to call the dealership back and question them on why they cashed the deposit check, after asking them not too. A Lady answered the phone and instantly seemed upset once i mentioned the deposit check, but since my bank fixed it, that wasn't really a big deal now, I just wanted some reassurance on the pick up date for Saturday. So I called the dealership back and spoke with Chris, this is Tuesday, I could not pick up the check until Wednesday and I could not take it to them that day, so I would have the checked mailed overnight express and they would get it on Thursday (no later that 12:00pm) So I asked him if I overnight the check to them on Wednesday and they get it on Thursday, could they still have the car ready for pick-up on Saturday? He said "Yes, that is no problem", So I mailed the check. On Wednesday I call the dealership, just to let them know the check have been mailed and make sure once again the car will be ready for pick-up on Saturday, But now John is back, and once I explained that to him he said "That's impossible!, there is no way we could have that vehicle ready if we receive the check on Thursday. I explained to him that I have plans and I really need the car ready for pick-up on Saturday, . He then Said "WE HAVE 3 OTHER DEALERSHIPS, WE JUST CANT STOP WHAT WE'ER DOING SO RICKY CAN MAKE HIS APPOINTMENT. I then also informed him that Chris said it was no problem. He said I dont know why he would say that, "You'll get it Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest. I could not believe the so called customer service had disappeared so fast once the check was in the mail. Unbelievable, so I stopped the express check, paid whatever fees that came with it, there was absolutely no way these people was getting any money from me...EVER! If they just would have communicated much better between each other, or act liked they cared, they would have sold me a vehicle, I am so glad I did not buy their car, reacting like this gave me no reassurance on if I needed them for read more
