Neil absolutely fit that bill. He talked us through every single step of the way, pointing out different components and ensuring that we had ample time to ask questions while we were in the home. Within about five minutes we narrowed down our choices and took his advice to wait until everything was installed and then select the tile. He provided us with samples to place around the kitchen to view in different light settings and was completely no pressure. We heeded is advice, looked at the two tiles we were considering and purchased our tiles and they came in on the day promised. The price was extremely reasonable and the staff even helped with figuring out how we wanted to create the backsplash behind our gourmet range. Everything came out perfectly! We had a terrible experience with this inspector. He did not flag the age of our main sewer pipe as…read morea highlighted issue to follow up on, and resultantly we had to replace it for $19k within days of closing on the house. He also failed to flag damaged insulation and evidence of a rodent infestation in the attic. The inspection lasted a short 1.5 hours and was not thorough and communication was extremely poor. We only went with him because he used drones for roof inspections, but that proved to be worthless because he didn't even give an estimated age of the roof or its condition, until I followed up with him and asked days later. We are out well over $20k at this point, and he was completely uncooperative and unresponsive when we attempted to discuss all of the above missed issues. Do your research and go with someone more qualified, who actually cares.
