Really nice closing experience here today! We meet at 8 am on a Friday. Preferred Title was easy to find, there's plenty of dedicated parking in the lot, and their set up inside is clean and professional. Although there are several folks inside, you get to have just one person leading the process. With expertise, Lacey Thomas led us through the documents for closing on a house. She answered questions and kept everything going smoothly. She had all the document sets for the seller and buyer ready for closing. The documents were easy to understand with her explanations. She even brought coffee for those of us who needed it. Yes please! She offered both paper copies and emailing through a secure link. Preferred Title took over two weeks to prepare the papers for the closing on our house. We closed on a Friday and they gave us our checks from the deal. We got emails late on Monday stating they made a mistake and we had to immediately send them a large amount of money back. They took over two weeks to make a mistake and we had to immediately fix it for them. No phone call, they sent an email late on Monday saying we had to get them money to them on Tuesday. Their job is supposed to make sure the numbers are correct. They failed. Very poor customer service handling the situation. read more
