I had gotten some quotes from other companies and later got a quote from L&D. A lady came and quoted me and I told her what the other quotes were and although she didn't match the lowest quote she came close enough and due to the fact her company has a lot of solid reviews on other sites I went with them. My only complaint is they didn't call me to tell me when they would be doing the work. But luckily, I happened to be working on the street where the property is at another one of my properties and I saw them. They did the work and there was one limb they hadn't removed. I asked the guy in the bucket who was doing the cutting to cut that limb as well and he did, which I appreciate. They did a good job and the assistants worked hard as well, removing the limbs and throwing them in the wood chipper. They cleaned up pretty well and were nice. I'll no doubt have more cutting work to be done and will definitely get a quote from these guys as I'm happy with the work they performed.

Why would I accuse your company of this when I used you for many years. I think what happened was the machine was throwing too many pellets. I would never have cancelled your services if your company would have called me to come up with a solution. You guys took care of my yard for several years prior to this. As far as why did I wait so long to post pictures now, I deleted these pictures and they just happened to show up in my facebook post that were previously posted by me. So that's why I posted later. I actually sent several emails and pictures to your company with no response. I'm not a person to complain or am I vindictive. This definitely was caused by enormous amounts of pellets thrown in my yard. You could see large piles. I have no reason to post something that's not true. The workers missed some shrubs to cut/pull. I sent the owner/manager? (RJ?) photos of what they missed (7/24). He was responsive and apologetic. Sent the guys back out. He said he sent them the pictures. They came out and got some of those done! (7/28) I sent pics again if what was left. This time I sent a check. He said they'd come out. They did. However, again they left the last two. (7/30) I noticed the two little ones by house left. It was Sunday but wanted to send while I remembered, not expecting a response until the work week. No response. And that's how they went from 5-stars to 3-stars.

We now have some shingles that have come loose on the work he did in 2016. We have contacted him concerning this issue. Based on his previous track record I do not expect him to return my call. I understand that they are busy and working on several jobs at the same time. But to treat a past customer this way is very disappointing. This is why I would be hesitant to recommend him.
