We are still experiencing significant brown-colored water that is ruining clothes and bedding, causing rings around toilets and bathtubs, and discoloring drains and fixtures. We were told to buy a filter for the washing machine, and it has not helped. I have been told by SSW that "water is a choice", that the brown water meets the standards set by the health department, and we should just wear dark colored clothing. I fill my bathtub half full to gauge the water color before washing. This helps; however, many times during a wash cycle, brown water will still invade the wash and ruin the load of laundry that I am washing. I have been to 3 monthly board meetings, and they have no answers to when this problem will be rectified. The board meets at South Sheridan Water on the 3rd Monday of the month. (If they have a quorum)
