This dentist is one of the purest dentist that evaluated issues. He was SO honest and could have profited from my vulnerability and I would have left devastated and still in pain with another scheduled appt. He is NOT like many that I have frequented over the past couple of years. He helped to stabilize me and advised to continue with my UCLA dentist. Awesome service all the way around. I have several different dental issues. They tend to run in my family. On my first appointment, the Dr. developed a plan WITH me. I was an active participant in it. And now I completely understand what is needed, what it is going to cost and how long it is going to take. I so appreciate that level of transparency. He is super friendly and also took measures to ensure I was comfortable throughout both of my first two appointments. His staff is also great. His office manager is a great communicator and is very on top of the billing details with my insurance. And his dental assistants are friendly, professional and experienced. I needed an emergency root canal yesterday. The pain was unbearable. Dr El Raheb's staff got me in within 2 hours. I was so afraid of the local anesthetic but Dr El Raheb was so gentle that I did not even feel the injection. Once my mouth was completely numb. I drive about 70 minutes to Dr. Elraheb's office for my appointments, but it is definitely worth every minute of my drive because I'm treated by a knowledgeable dentist who has answers to all my questions and explains in detail what treatment or procedures need to be done to take car of my teeth. I Chipped a tooth called all over the vally looking for somone to fit me in, and it was over a month wait every place I called. Precision Dentistry got me in right away, I forsure thought my tooth would need to be pulled. The receptionist was very welcoming, she even was able to call my insurance company ,and get all the information that I did not have with me. Dr Elraheb was very informative, and made me feel very comfortable. He said he would be able to save my tooth. He put a temporary cap on it, and I'll be seeing him soon to get everything done. I needed a bridge and veneers for my front teeth, I waited a long time to find the right dentist to do it. I had a bad experience when they did my bridge over 30 years ago, it was very painful and they looked fake, I would hardly ever smile, trying to hide my teeth. I am seasonal resident and don't have a dentist in Cathedral City. This past weekend I got an intolerable tooth ache and waited until Monday morning at which time I called Precision Dental. They were able to accommodate me that morning at 10am. Dr. Elraheb was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and took the time to clearly explain the diagnosis. In short, he gave me a prescription for an antibiotic for an infrction and a pain medication as and if required. That will take care of things until I return to my primary home in a weeks time. I'm mind blown! So I came to this dentist office on Monday because my tooth was hurting. I was instantly greeted and by Kessia and Rose. They did my temp check and I was amazed by how clean and safe it was. I have severe anxiety and let them know how nervous I was. When I met the dentist Dr.Ayman he was so understanding and talked me through it all. He was so detailed and listed to my concerns. It was decided that my tooth being pulled would be the best route for me. So as you can tell I was extra nervous about that but I was also so relieved to knowing I'd have great staff and a dentist I could trust. So fast forward to today and same thing super clean, friendly and safe staff. I let them know I was extremely nervous and on the inside I was having anxiety but they talked me all the way through it. In all my years I never had someone so gentle doing the shots especially on the roof of my mouth. After waiting a few minutes to get numb he had my tooth out in about 1 minute, zero issues at all!!!! After visiting many Dentists in Palm Springs/ Cathedral area I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Ayman K. Elraheb,D.D.S. at "Precision Dentistry" in Cathedral City. As far as( Dentist go), I understand that many people are afraid of going to the Dentist but he really will put you at ease and all his Staff! I haven't been there very many times but the Dr. is very polite and has a very good "Bedside Manner", he never makes you feel bad regardless of your situation... He puts you at ease and I highly recommend him!! In my opinion he is the "Best Dentist" in the "Desert"!!! UPDATE: I finally found a reliable honest dentist that does amazing work. $7500 for 4 root canals, 8 crowns, and all 4 quads deep cleaning. Sure beats Precision and their dirty office and $2400 for 2 crowns and 1 quad of cleaning. Dont waste your time, money, or risk your health. My new dentist also does an actual deep cleaning......no just use the laser, the laser is not a proper deep cleaning. So glad I waited and didn't fall for this guy. My hubby and I really wanted to like this dentist, he has a great bedside manner. Unfortunately there is something very shady going on with their billing department and the receptionist BERNIE. Long story short.... We both need/needed major work and had the money saved up to do it. We made it clear in the beginning we were looking for a long term reliable dentist. Our trust with them was very short lived. I went in on 2 different occasions. The first went great.....xrays, cleaning, and impressions for molar crowns. Happily set up a second appointment for the crown placement and deep cleaning, this is where things went south. They charged me $2400 for the 2 crowns and a deep cleaning on one quadrant, and that was with my insurance that had never been used. I asked for a detailed bill and they refused to give me one. When I called to ask my insurance company, it turns out that this dentist also charged them the maximum of $1500. So for the 2 crowns and a single quad cleaning they pocketed $3900! My insurance informed me that this is highly illegal, and even if my policy was maxed out for the year they can only charge me $700 per crown. I called and tried explaining this to Bernie and she tried to play dumb. She always said she would call me back or keep me on hold forever. I even went down to the office personally (right before they closed) and Bernie ran and locked the door right in front of me and start yelling at me in Spanish. I'm sure it was profanity, she knows I don't speak Spanish. The kicker is, they continue to call me to tell me I'm due for another cleaning. When I explain the situation I am always told that the dentist will personally call me back. He has not called me one time. I also had my mother's dentist office call and act like a customer, asking about costs for services....it was quite comical, and recorded. My insurance company has opened up a fraud case against them. Once the office caught wind of it, they sent me a $900 refund. They owe me and my insurance company much more than that, so we are continuing the fraud investigation. Once everything is said and done I will definetly get my money back and this place will be out of business with numerous lawsuits. Customers beware! read more

Great friendly staff and excellent doctor, but generally all dental work is just too expensive for seniors living on social security. A bridge is about $6,500 and an implant and crown about $8,000. That amount almost cleans out most people's nest egg for two teeth. read more
