Because when you feel like "My skin needs this" and then you have a long wait or no openings makes you put off treating your skin right. (or maybe its just me). Okay back to the scheduling of this appointment with Aesthetic Theory Detroit (ATD). I click on the tab to request appointment on yelp and I love that right away i was taken to a quick few questions what my concerns were along with a few other questions. Because when deciding on a facial it can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what would work. I was happy that it didn't take long before i got a reply back with suggestion what facial would work based on my concerns. I got schedule for a few days later and I was on my way to having a Dermal infusion. Day of my appointment everything was smooth from the minute I walked in, I answered a few questions and then I was taken to a room where my facial started right away. It didn't take long maybe 45min total if you count the time it took me to fill out the information on the ipad, now let me tell you BEAUTY IS PAIN and this might not be for everyone but the end results is so worth. And of course consistency with your skin care regimen is a must, I saw the difference in my skin with just 1 appointment. It also helps that they take before and after pictures so you can see the progress but honestly I saw it after 1 visit. I did schedule for another one in about a month because its a PRICEY but 1's a month you can make it work because your skin will thank you. I loved how i didnt feel pressure to buy anything or like I was being given a sales pitch during my facial. 2 days after the facial I did get a few little breakout but I was told that would happen because of the treatment from the Dermal inusion. But Heather did a fabulous job and i'm looking forward to getting my skin right and the next appointment I have. I decided to drive to their location where they had a totally outdated sign saying they were closed until April due to governors order...except it was the end of July now. I started calling again in August leaving more voicemails, because someone had clearly listened to them, deleted them. I tried and tried with them, even going to their Facebook for open updates and it hasn't been updated in over a year. I'm not even sure they're still in business.

I wanted to update my review now that I am healed from the final touch up. Often times the photos…read moreshown are right after the procedure, and really does not give an accurate idea of what the brows look like in the end. First, you go in and you have it done and they look FANTASTIC!! You are super excited. Over the next 14 days your brows will flake off and lose a lot of color. Mine like most of the color and my brows were sparse and boring. I was regretting wasting my money. But after 5 weeks I went back for my touch up. Again, immediately following the procedure I loved the sharpness and the color. I new they would fade and soften (they were admittedly a bit harsh), but wasn't sure how they would turn out. So, I went ahead and waited to take an "after" photo. They look pretty good. I would have really preferred they be darker. I don't have any makeup on in this photo, but I have been having to add powder to my brows. I did this so I wouldn't need to do that. It could just be that right after they fade like this, they go from very dark and crisp to more natural (which is what you want) and they just appear too light to me. It's tough to say. My goal of having this done was to not need makeup at all over the summer months. I want to go with a more natural look (with a ton of help, but look like I am not trying too hard). Overall, I think they look pretty darn good.
