The staff here is so lovely. We took our cat Elsa here today! When I dropped her off, the groomer explained everything she was going to do so no surprises! She said it would take about three hours, but she was done in two! When I arrived to pick up Elsa, she looked absolutely beautiful! The staff had said nothing but good things about her and everyone was so kind. We will definitely be back in a couple of months for her next groom! I have recently brought my dog in for a grooming. However upon arrival the groomer stated that she was cut but that it was a skin tag. Once I brought her home I notice that it was not a skin tag but they had cut her claw on her right leg off. The partial owner/manager stated she would pay for the vet bill to insure she was okay. I took her to the vet paid the bill and the owner paid me cash to cover it. Over night my dog hasn't been feeling well since the groomers and was having diarrhea etc. I took her to the ER.....called the groomers and the manager stated that it had nothing to do with them and that it could be a number of things. Mind you my dog is up to date with her vaccinations. I literally put the cash value given from the last vet towards the ER bill. Go at your own discretion. They are so unprofessional and rude. read more

My recommendation is do not be late to your appointment or else they will give it away to someone else. I would have no problem with this if they let you know their policy, I hadn't been bringing our dog there for months, texted them to let them know I was late and not missed an appointment in over a year. Took two of my three there today (third dog just got bathed after boarding at Rovers Ranch, a great boarding facility, and didn't need grooming). First, I want to say that we have been taking our Dog here for about 2-3 years. They have always been a very busy groomer so I understand the delays in the completion of the grooming. I created this Yelp account to warn customers! The final and last time we ever took our dog to the groomer they "accidentally" cut him but did NOT tell us when we picked him up. After getting home and letting him in our house I realized that there was blood all over our carpet, couches, and beds. I then went to my Fiances car and saw that there was blood stain all over the black leather seats. I initially thought that he might have bitten himself but upon looking under his arm he had a gash from a clipper. I wondered why the groomer had not mentioned it. I know mistakes happen and would have been fine if the groomer would have told us. I have since called and spoke with multiple people there and was told that they would send me the video footage of his grooming. Shocker, they never sent the video. The initial time that I called the lady was very rude and tried to turn it around on me like it was my fault. I then called back multiple times and have been told that someone would contact me. Then again, No one has called. I am not seeking any money for the cleaning services but I want a call from a Manager/ Owner to explain the situation. I will never take my dog there ever again!!! I have a 65# mix breed dog and I've taken him there 3 times and this last time I took him they called me and told me that I had to come get him because he had diarrhea with blood in it and they bathed him but I need to get him. So I went to pick him up and he was still soaked, and I paid them 30.00 to bathe him they claim they brushed him which clearly was not done, and when I got him home I found his lip was torn which I will not accept on my animal. I know if they are stressed they will have stool problems and since he has been home has had no problems moving his bowels. I am very dissatisfied and I hope no one else has to go through what I have had to go through. I am finding a new groomer one that takes care of their animals and shows them love and respect!! read more

I have been taking my sweet beloved Fur Baby Aioke to Precious Paws for almost 2 years now. The entire staff is professional kind gentle & loving. They do not kennel my baby. I had a very solid experience taking my sheltie here. We have had her groomed in the past and were unhappy with the lasting effects of the wash as well as the trim and undercoat brushing. At this store, I am happy to report the opposite and I'm also quite happy with her nail trimming as well. I asked to have them rounded down to avoid scratching and they were perfect when she got home. Another thing I appreciated was the groomer calling first to ask permission before clipping her belly hair, as some owners like to keep it longer for show. We got to chatting and I found out her family also kept shelties and she was able to give me some great tips about grooming her myself in between groomings as well as a advice about good food to buy for the breed. I have been going to Precious Paws Grooming for years now and have never had a problem. Until today!!! You could not pay me enough to take my precious dog back there!!! My dog, Oscar is 14 and half years old and suffers from seizures. He is on medication for this for almost a year now. Therefore when he gets groomed I tell them he cannot be there for too long. My dog had an appointment this morning 3/16/18 at 9AM. When I brought him in, promptly at 9, he was the only dog there. Sara, who is an unprofessional nightmare, asked what time he had to be done, I once again informed her of his medical condition and she said he would be done ASAP. By 3PM I had heard nothing and tried to call but it went to voicemail. Minutes later Sara called me and said for me to come get my dog because she didnt feel well and couldn't get to him! He was there for 6hrs. and she was now just telling me she didn't feel well. My poor dog who is 14 and half yrs. old and suffers from seizures was trapped in there all day with no air conditioning (temp. here was 73)! There was dog hair all over, so she took other dogs before mine and just let him sit there all day! Not to mention he needs his medication of which she was aware. Best part is when I went to pick him up Sara had the nerve to yell and curse at me. DO NOT take your beloved pets to this awful place. Janice Gunday read more
