We started with the prawns. I was worried about fried prawns - but they were perfect! The dough wasn't a thick filo style, it was strings of crispy katafi (which I now know what this is!). Simple delicious! My son got the linguini with a ragu. It was some of the best ragu I've ever had - and I grew up in an Italian famiglia! The past cooked to perfection and the sauce with plenty of meat and a rich, deep flavor. I got Gnocchi with artichokes and it too was delicious. The gnocchi had a perfect bite and the artichoke cut to an ideal size and cooked just to the edge of being crispy. Wonderful. I definitely recommend stopping here for a bite!!!

We also had the pasta with mushrooms, a bit too much oil on the dish but it tasted great. As soon as we sat down the chef sent us Bruschetta and came out to ask us how we liked it. The Tiramisu is really amazing. You could taste the bottom layer was moist the mascarpone sweet and a perfect cappuccino. Very affordable. Atmosphere: Cozy room, right across from one of the Pompei ruins entrances. Italian music playing in the background. It was a Monday at about 7, there were only two other groups there so not too busy. Service: Amazing, the head chef was not too busy so he was checking on us a couple of times.
