The museum is filled with fascinating artifacts and personal pieces of Disney history that made me appreciate his story even more. My favorite part was the incredible model of Disneyland--it was amazing to admire all the tiny details and see the park brought to life in miniature. I left feeling inspired, nostalgic, and even more grateful for the legacy Walt Disney created. This is a hidden gem that every Disney fan should experience at least once.

Even though the Disney museum was small it was still very nice overall experience. Walt Disney childhood home is located not too far down the and is definitely worth checking out too.

There is a hangar with a number of vintage aircraft and information around 'famous plane crashes' that have taken place in the state. There is an Iowa Aviation Hall of Fame and library in the back of the hangar with racks of books, reference materials, and videos for perusal or research. This is a very quiet and quaint operation - don't expect anything too grand...but you will find a great deal of information with 'Iowa nice' treatment at a bargain price.
