The employee placed the batteries in the back of my truck when I arrived 2 hours later to my destination. The caps were loose and had been splashing acid in the back of my 2024 Silverado. The acid ate the carpet and it leaked into the truck. My cousin contacted Saskbattery and the manager was completely rude. He sent an email to us and when my cousin called him on speaker phone with 4 other farmers in the room he stated that it's up the the customer to check to see if the fill caps are tight and they are not responsible as soon as the batteries are loaded into the truck even if it was employee that loaded them. It's up the customer to check the fill caps to make sure they are sealed and closed. Sask batteries manager says they don't take any accountability on this situation. Then my cousin said I think I should call my lawyer. The manager stated to all of us. I look forward to talking to him. He also stated that they sell 10s of thousands of batteries and it's impossible for his employees to check the fill caps. I would not recommend them to anyone even if the prices are good! some times when it is a good price you pay for it 10 fold in other end clearly in this situation Please comment on this. I would love to hear from anyone else and what they think about the customer service of the situation. I am attaching the managers email and a couple of photos of where the acid leaked. I have nothing to hide since it's clear cut and dry
