ENGLISH VERSION FOLLOWS: Schiefes Restaurant! Crooked restaurant! I choose this restaurant for my birthday dinner and was ripped off. I ordered a 42 euro menu and a bottle of house champagne for the table (at the ridiculous cost of 70 euros for this cheap champagene). The food was completely mediocre; one of the worst French restaurants I have every visited. At the end of the evening they demanded payment of 230 euros! And they did not even bother to present a bill...just a demand for the money. I paid because I did not want to make a scene at my birthday dinner, but the next day I called the very rude and aggressive French owner of this restaurant to ask him what was in the 230 euros he charged me. He just yelled over my, refused to say what he charged me for, and kept yelling constantly to keep me from speaking. This is this guy's business policy--cheating guests who don't want to make a scene or perhaps had a glass of wine too much. They make sure not to present any written bill that could provide proof of the theft. I have made a complaint to the Polizei. You can save yourself this aggrevation by avoiding this restaurant. There are far better French restaurants in Frankfurt that are not crooked thieves.

Overall it was rather frustrating dinner due to extremely slow and inattentive service.

We were able to make reservations a day before and were there right when theh opened. They had a decent salad/veggie selection. Once more people came, the meat started coming. The chorizo, roast beef and the chicken legs/hearts were good, but very salty. The pork and the ribs were sub par. Bland and dry. The breads they gave us were also stale. The fried bananas and fresh chips were also good. The margarita was good, drinks were cold, and the waitress would come whenever we needed them, but the meat server stopped coming to us after the first round of cuts, even though we had the green sign up. After waving him down a few times, then he started coming back to us. For nearly 30 euros a person, i would have like to have seen more options, like a good steak option. If they add a meat or two and ease up on the salt, it would be perfect. Worth coming back and trying it again
