We are database and barcoding experts, but we do a whole lot more. We offer software products for download, custom software, and database tuning services. Download offerings include: barcode tracking, VICS Bill of Lading, Database Backup, tuning, and monitoring, IP Change notify, and Barcode Point of Care, to name a few. We have more than 25 years of experience with all kinds of data collection systems using barcodes and other media such as RFID. More important than just having experience, we build those systems we don't just re-sell other company's products. Our intimacy with the creation of each system coupled with working closely with customers, analyzing their needs, is what makes us experts.

History

Established in 2002.

Practical Compliance Solutions was incorporated in 2002 and is a software / hardware solution provider. We are located in Rutherford, New Jersey, about ten miles from New York City. After 14 years of delivering, implementing, and supporting many kinds of systems for other companies, Thomas Romeo, our founder, branched out on his own because he knew in his heart how he needed to treat his customers and how he needed to build the systems that were right for them without compromise. Of course the job market changed radically after the Y2K push, the internet bubble, 9/11, and the stock market corrections that followed. These events were catalysts for the move, though he had no real understanding of this at the time. It was just an uneasiness that became a call to action.

Meet the Business Owner: Thomas R.

With a degree in Computer Science focusing on scientific applications and mathematics, Thomas Romeo Jr set out to find his place in the world. Throughout his career which started with sales support and technical support, through his many engagements with different customers on myriad projects, there has always been this sense of, "I can do more". Fast forward to 2002 when he founded Practical Compliance Solutions, he found his true calling as an entrepreneur embarking a new path with different challenges but with a single mission focus of providing software that makes sense and solves very specific problems. Thomas is a strong believer in providing customers with what they need to help them become more competitive. A problem solver at heart, following the roadmap set forth in Bob Walsh's book "Micro ISV"
