I meant to write this review after my adjustment yesterday but all I wanted to do was go home and relax after an amazing appointment. In Short... I spent all weekend down and out with a Flu bug, I couldn't get comfortable because of a bad kink in my neck. After I got in my car accident I started to go to sessions here with Dr. Scott. He definitely knows what he's doing, and made sure I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. All of the staff are very nice and helpful. They always remind you via text the day before your appointment too so you don't forget. When you are in back pain-and a massage from Ryan or adjustment from Dr. Dubrul does the trick..well you just want to give them a big bear hug. It's INSANE how good I feel after Ryan's massages. Usually a yoga class can help, but it doesn't touch Ryan's massages. I actually was able to skip my adjustment this week after my appointment with Ryan-he finds your trouble zones by chatting with you prior-but if you aren't sure, he quickly pinpoints and gets to work right away. I like seeing Doctor Scott; they can usually schedule me the same day I call. He feels your neck & spine to find pinch points and adjusts those problem areas, and does it well. I've been going to Dr. Scott Dubrul for about four months. My initial presentation was a little unusual insofar as I was have foot pain when first starting walking after sitting for a while. This had been going on for a few months and it was getting worse. (I'm a runner and these injuries are often described as plantar fasciitis.) In any case, Dr. Scott recommended a complete evaluation, which I welcomed. In my case he used a chiropractic activator on my neck, back and feet. In just a few visits the pain in the foot resolved to the point where I joking that I couldn't remember which foot had the problem. I continue going although I'm now down to once a month. A couple years back I had bad back pain due to a recent sports injury. I went to the doctor who poked around at me and guessed that I had muscle tightness and prescribed me muscle relaxers. This did nothing to help and I wasn't impressed by my doctor's non-scientific methodology. So I asked for a referral to physical therapy because I was still in pain. I went to the physical therapists who also poked around at me and guessed that I needed stretches. I went for a few weeks and did the stretches but got no relief. Out of desperation I went to Powersource. Dr. Scott poked around at my back but also took x-rays! He was the first to actually do any imagery on me. He was actually able to see what the problem was. After one session, 90% of my pain was gone! After another few weeks of seeing him I had no more pain. It hasn't come back either. He listens to my concerns about certain adjustments and if I don't feel comfortable with a manual adjustment that day he will use alternative methods to get the adjustment I need. I can't say enough good things about Powersource! I was impressed from the very first phone call I had with their receptionist Sara. She was so wonderful and got me right in, which I very much needed. The office is beautiful, clean and spa like as well as a big screen TV with fun facts and information. I've been to other respected chiropractors and after seeing Dr. Dubrul they don't compare. His knowledge of the body as a whole is impressive. He doesn't simply fix your body; he explains how each part of your spine connects to nerves which in turn can affect your organs. He is all about healing the whole person. I got x-rays right in the office and came back the next day for the results. Dr. Dubrul had put together a comprehensive care plan for me and thoroughly explained all the results. I was really excited to see the findings and how much progress could be made. There wasn't any pressure put on me to make a bunch of appointments or anything, but believe me I was more than ready to! Powersource also offers massage, wellness plans, food intolerance testing, muscle therapy, hormone testing as well as other services. This is the first time that I've gone to a Chiropractor, so I didn't know what to expect. Everyone in the office was wonderful and explained everything clearly from the process to the payment. I ended up going twice a week for a couple of weeks and am now going once every two weeks. My original issue (lower back pain that was making it hard to do anything that involved bending) felt almost completely better after the first 2 or 3 visits. Now, when I go, I don't even realize that it wasn't feeling right until Dr. Dubrul fixes it. I've also had several massages with Ryan - after the first one I felt like I had been trampled by an elephant, but by the next day my back and shoulders felt looser than they ever had before, and each of the subsequent massages felt even better.
