This is a small church on the outskirts of town. It is actually the church my grandfather's mother…read moreattended back in the day when she was living. I hadn't been here since I was a child. It's off the beaten path and about 14 miles outside of town. I recently made a visit back here to lay my grandmother to rest in her final resting place, inside of the small church cemetery on the side of the church. The church and it facilities were neatly kept and in a very intimate setting. I saw many of my family's graves as well. Being out here brought back fond memories of my family and my childhood. I can only imagine what kind of fun my loved ones are having up there in heaven. I know they are having a grand ole time, especially since my grandmother has recently gained her wings. I can hear her cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. Rest beautifully grandmother!!!!

Living each day for the weekend. 18 years later we are completely different people and we still love it. Tonight we started leading a new married couples small group. It's so powerful what God has done in and through us in the years we've been there. We both know Pastor Marty, the other pastors, the amazing worship and the strong emphasis on small groups have radically changed our lives and we are so thankful they welcomed us just as we were all those years ago.
