I had a great experience visiting during one of PotomacBeads' Warehouse Shopping Days. The warehouse is massive, and it was exciting to see so much inventory in person. One thing to know is that this is not a regular public storefront, so you do need to watch for their special shopping event dates on the website. If you get the chance to go on one of those days, it's definitely worth it. read more

Excellent quality beads and findings. Well packaged kits, although the instructions could be more explicit.

I buy all my beads and supplies from Potomac Beads. I LOVE this store. I always know I am getting quality items when I buy from them. I also seem to find something I just can't seem to live without every time I visit the website! There are just so many wonderful items at such reasonable prices. They also have a whole library of free tutorial videos on different jewelry to make. They have helped me grow in my skills just by watching all the videos. That didn't even cost me a dime! How great is that? read more

Beautiful space! I love the layout of this bead store and the selection. Who knew there were so many options. My daughter went in looking for seed beads, the staff was very knowledgeable and came over to help us personally. If you have a specific color palette this is a great place to shop because the store is very organized. But, if you simply love jewelry, crafting, and want inspiration, there is trough of beads all shapes, sizes, and colors for you to choose and buy by the gram. Stop by some lazy Saturday afternoon and enjoy! read more

Hey, lovely beaders I have a question for you all :) Are you buying beads from a company that scamming! I will not do that ever anymore. Sad but Potomacbeads scammed me! I wasn't got my gift box already 3 months is still in the US and never left! https://www.apc-pli.com/apc-tracking-v2.html?id=UM862752687US And when I tried to reach them two emails were totally ignored on the third time said wait? Is that normal stealing money and even resolving problems is that what service customers deserve? read more

I'm very disappointed. I bought two kits from Potomac beads. One kit (Fields of Wheat" did not have enough beads to complete it and I had to order more. I emailed them about it and never received a response. The second kit "Crystal Lagoon" was missing the 11/O s needed to even begin the kit. The same issue-emailed and crickets. It's aggravating because I'm over paying for the kits because I have to buy more beads to start or finish them. read more

Needed some beads and found this Potomac bead store on Apple Maps. It said it was open and so I drove there. The bead store is there and has lots of beads but now you can only shop online. I couldn't even shop online and pick up Covid style. They only ship. So because of the lack of correct information and difficulty I can't give them anything more than the one star. read more

Buyer beware. On line store. Recommended by a YouTube creator I follow (maybe she gets quality stones because she is VERY popular on YT?). First of all, my fault for not reading that there are no refunds; they give store credit only. That is understandable if I had changed my mind about a purchase. But when they send very sub par stones (foiled backs scratched/spotty, chips and scratches on stones, edges of crystals ragged and appearing as if chipped), refunds should be given. Oh, and also it's my responsibility to pay return shipping. Once I return these items and find something I think I will be happy with, I will not shop with them again. How can a company send out less than quality stones to a paying customer and expect the customer to pay more (return shipping) and do further business (have to use store credit) with them? Horrible quality crystals. NO customer care. read more

I LOVE this store!!! The staff is AWESOME, friendly and welcoming. They are helpful and very knowledgeable. If I have a choice I go to this store over any of the other stores, they seem to have better stock and their staff is more... read more
