I needed to notarize documents last minute for an out-of-state house sale. I came in very frazzled and clueless as to what needed to be done. I was promptly helped by the owner Chris, who was incredibly patient and helpful. He explained the notary process and helped me navigate the seemingly endless stack of papers we had to get through. When we were done with the notary process, Chris helped me mail the documents and explained the different pricing and timing options with UPS and FedEx. He packaged the documents for me and took care of everything. I instantly felt at ease and relieved. The whole process was incredibly fast and painless! Beware the owner Chris is incredibly rude, unfriendly and a jerk. He also doesn't consistently wear a mask and repeatedly removed his in front of me for minutes at a time when I was there. He clearly does not follow the covid mask guidelines. I was wondering why he had some 1-star reviews and 5-star reviews, but those people are telling the truth about this guy. I came in for an international shipping quote with my items as their website invites costumers to do. After mentioning why I was there, I immediately got a sense that he was annoyed and didn't want to help me. He proceeded to help other people who came after me even though there were 2 other staff behind the counter. I made a comment that I had found a quote online but that I wasn't sure if I had done it right. He gave me a smirk and his response was that he couldn't offer me that price and I should just use the shipping website online for my quotes and guidance. He continued to stand there and help others and ignore me and give me looks implying that we were done. I was ready to leave at that point. After back and forth for 10+ minutes, finally some action and he took a look at his boxes and determined that he did not have a box to fit my contents. At that point he advised me to go elsewhere to purchase a box that he couldn't help me. Again, I asked him for a simple price quote and after more interruptions he measured the dimensions and provided me a quote. In the end I went somewhere else for my shipping needs and I encourage others to do the same. Especially during the holiday season and covid, there's no reason to be rude to someone like this owner was to me. And no excuse to conduct business without a mask on during these times. Best advice is to go somewhere else. I will never set foot in this store again after this poor experience. read more

Dropped off a DHL package here. They were happy to help me print out my shipping label and tape it to my package. No extra charge. A lot of places aren't willing to do that, or will at least charge you a few dollars. Really appreciate the great service here! read more

Came here to ship my guitar and drum set overseas. I was moving home and these instruments were too big to carry on the airplane. I didn't trust myself to pack them for shipping either. I realized it would cost an arm and a leg to have someone pack and mail them for me, but it beat risking damage to my stuff. Dude that Friday morning was very friendly and chatty. Professional, too. It took a while to collect all the necessary materials to pad the oddly shaped instruments, but it was done well and I couldn't have imagined doing some of what he did. Swiped my card and the big boxes were on their way. A few days after I got home, the packages arrived. I carefully unboxed them all and was happy to see not a dent on my guitar or drum set. Chris at Postal Annex is amazing! I can't believe how much he went out of his way to help me out. Our company was shipping a package to a conference, I went into the store and had them pack it for me, but had already printed the label. After I left we found out that we're had the wrong shipping address and needed to put a new label on the package. FedEx had already picked up the package, but Chris was able to track the driver down, have him come back and attach the correct label to our package. This took up more than 2 hours of his time! This was my one-time, personal experience. I went to many stores trying to find a specific box I needed and came across this store. Don't know why I didn't think of it before. Walked in and was greeted by who I assume was Chris because all the other (male) customers called him Chris. During this COVID times, I would've appreciated it if he wore his face covering the whole time I and other customers were present. I had a few questions as to what specific box I needed to use, and was answered with a lot of attitude. Either "you could've called before you came in for what you wanted" or when I asked if he had XYZ-type shipping boxes, all he did was point, or when he said "you have a box right there, why don't you use it?" - well I want to ship my items in individual boxes, not just one or I wouldn't be here, would I? As I talked to him, he'd cut me off while talking. I really want to say he was helpful, but his attitude and customer service trumped the positivity of my experience. When more customers started to come, I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible with the amount of testosterone hanging around.
