I would never use Postal Plus again for many reasons. #1 The man who owns/operates it is rude and hateful. #2 The girl who works with him is rude and not friendly or accommodating. #3 I did not receive my Tracking # when I paid, and had to wait hours to get it. #4 I was charged 4 times the amount, but was not aware until I got home and ran the weight/size/zip code at the USPS website. We went to Plus in Henderson on a Saturday to send a large bubble envelope to our daughter in Gettysburg. The post office was closed. We wanted it to get there sooner than later. We paid $48.95 to ship this envelope and get it there on Monday. It didn't make it. I called and spoke with Mike and he said the package had gone out around 12:30 on Saturday FedEx. He asked for the receipt and checked on his end when the envelope was delivered. He refunded the money that we had paid. It always feels good to find someone who cares about the consumer. I used to use Staples for my shipments, but since they've closed, I've been forced to use Postal Plus. I've never had a problem with my shipments getting lost, but the man that runs this place needs to learn how to deal with people. Everytime I try to ask him a question, he cuts me off with his explanation to my issue. This happens everytime, so maybe he has some type of problem......but it is costing him business. read more

Don't bother! The owner is a liar and a crook. We took our package in to ship UPS and he charged us $63 gave us no receipt or tracking # just some BS that they are a "test" site and we would receive an email. We went back 2 hours later to get our money and package back, he asked us what the name was as he had so many packages in the back, but were told it had already been picked up. Again more BS because when we did get the tracking # 5 hours later it said the package was still in Henderson. I checked the cost to ship through UPS directly and they would have only charged me $31. The old guy that works here is a rude idiot. There is absolutely no reason to ever use this business. If you need to ship something go to the post office - they give you FREE boxes and reasonable rates. Do not buy packing materials from this place. If you must buy packing materials go to Walmart, it will cost 75% less. Do not pay to ship UPS packages here, they will charge you DOUBLE the normal rate, which is already higher than USPS and Fedex. There is no reason you need them to pack something for you, how hard is it to put an item in a box and tape it closed? Is that worth $30 or more to you?! I wouldn't trust the packing job this guy does even if it was free! But most of all, stay away from the old man inside. What an ignorant jerk. This is the only access to UPS package shipping in Henderson. From past experience, I knew their shipping rates are very high, so I called the UPS Store in Wake Forest. I gave them my shipping destination postal code, package dimensions and weight. They politely quoted me a cost of $44.97. I took the package to Postal Plus and was told it would cost $96 and change. I asked if that was an express rate, and was told it was not. So I drove to UPS in Wake Forest and shipped the package at their quoted rate, plus I shipped three more packages for a total cost of $113. If Postal Plus is operating as a UPS agent, the shipping rates should be the same like they are at Staples. I tried to find a corporate Postal Plus website to research shipping rates, but there is no website. Apparently they operate independently and set their own prices. The Henderson Postal Plus put the wrong address on one of the packages we shipped a few years ago and it was lost for several weeks. And the owner/ manager is rude. It is worth the time and gas to drive to Wake Forest to UPS Store where they are very polite and reasonably priced. read more

The folks who are working everytime I come in are always nice and pleasant. I drop off packages here often because it's closer than the post office. You can drop off fedex, ups, and u.s. postal packages here and purchase packing materials or boxes too. They are nice enough to pack your item in a box and tape it up. I understand that they know when they will be picked up so if they push my package to the side until a later time I have never had a problem with it not being shipped out the same day I dropped it off. DO NOT USE THIS SHIPPER. I sent my Granddaughter up to mail 4 small packages to my other grandchildren during the COVID-19 lock-in that weighed less than 5 lbs each. Two were in 10" x 11" bubble wrapped envelopes and two were boxed that were less than 12" x12" x 5". I over estimated size and weight when using the UPS shipping calculator and it estimated the shipping at $51.23. My granddaughter told him that she wanted to ship them as cheap as possible with ground shipping and no insurance. She was charged $109.89 and was given a generic receipt that was not itemized or had any tracking information on it. I do not know if he was taking advantage of her inexperience, or price gouging do to COVID-19, but I will never spend another dollar in this store. Do yourself a favor and take your packages to the post office, or an actual UPS store. I hope my packages actually arrive. read more

I walked in on Sat. 4/2/16 to mail of two packages. It's a 1 man show so I had to wait and felt rushed with pricing the most efficient means of shipping my items. As I check out I noticed I received a receipt without a tracking number. I kindly asked how would I know how to track the items. I was told "since they won't go out until Monday, you can call back when we open and I'll have them for you. As if the service couldn't get any worse, today when I called at 9 am. The man who is suppose to be the owner was very rude to the extent of him slime a pair of scissors on the return package box in front of me!!!!!.
