A nice local newspaper. I'm impressed. That's not easy when it comes to most print media newspapers anymore. The Post Bulletin has a nice mix of local news and events. And for half a buck for the daily, it's a better bargain than many other local rags in the places I've been over the years. For the most part, i can get national media news anywhere, mostly online and on the radio, but its the local news that's more of a challenge. As much as I like finding news online, there's something about print . . . . Sure, i can read the pb online, but there are days where the last thing I want to do is turn on the tv or stare at at a computer screen. That's when the hardcopy comes to the rescue. Your Cost goes up and your SERVICE is Falling down. We don't get our paper some nights, Thursday paper never arrived and was delivered with Saturday's last night at 9:30 pm we still did not have a paper, we are promised a CREDIT but how do we know we are really getting a credit.. This newspaper is a complete waste of time. Over the last 20 years I've seen content sections shrink or completely disappear, elimination of distribution days, and most recently, a carefree and careless attitude toward customer service. I've had to call several times in the last 6 months because my elderly mother never receives her paper. First she calls and nothing happens and I'm forced to call and complain...again with resolution only 50% of the time. She is from the time period when people learned to thrive on reading and holding their daily newspaper, but sadly, she can do neither when she doesn't receive it. A pathetic excuse for a company whose owners must not care that it's being run into the ground. This isn't just my opinion, just ask their staff. I've been confronted at a local grocery store where the PB's rep told me, in his own words how desperate they are for subscribers and begged me to signup by trying to give me complementary shopping gift cards. He literally blocked me from entering the store with his persistent sales speech. This kind of behavior doesn't make me want to buy, but rather confirms just how much of a waste of money it would be to subscribe. Don't bother with this newspaper, it will be gone soon anyway if they continue to treat their customers so badly. read more
