This newspaper is a complete waste of time. Over the last 20 years I've seen content sections shrink or completely disappear, elimination of distribution days, and most recently, a carefree and careless attitude toward customer service. I've had to call several times in the last 6 months because my elderly mother never receives her paper. First she calls and nothing happens and I'm forced to call and complain...again with resolution only 50% of the time. She is from the time period when people learned to thrive on reading and holding their daily newspaper, but sadly, she can do neither when she doesn't receive it. A pathetic excuse for a company whose owners must not care that it's being run into the ground. This isn't just my opinion, just ask their staff. I've been confronted at a local grocery store where the PB's rep told me, in his own words how desperate they are for subscribers and begged me to signup by trying to give me complementary shopping gift cards. He literally blocked me from entering the store with his persistent sales speech. This kind of behavior doesn't make me want to buy, but rather confirms just how much of a waste of money it would be to subscribe.
