That said, this is one of those rare gems where they offer true antique pieces at "regular folk" prices. The staff is both entertaining and knowledgeable. They also move fast enough to get us through the ( endless supply of) items. One of the most disappointing things that can happen at an auction is to have your heart set on a piece only to have the auction end prematurely due to time constraints. Hogansville is a lovely small town that I am partial to, as this is where I was born and raised. Having just moved back to the area from a location where fantastic auction houses abound, I wasn't too sure that my old hometown could hold a candle. They did just fine.
