Before I made an appointment for my child I continued to do my due diligence, make sure that this was the therapy we wanted to continue forward with. Sadly, I've gone to her business twitter page, @grassrootstherapists and see how she harasses numerous individuals using their full names. This is very unprofessional and erratic. I am truly unsure where she finds the time to post that many times a day, targeting individuals for a variety of different things. It's concerning as this is behavior that could have her licensing suspended or worse. I have included screenshots but go to twitter/x yourself and you will see it's endless. Not only is this extremely unprofessional, but I'm in the group she is referring to as well, as I'm sure many clients are due to proximity, and I looked up several of these posts myself and was further disappointed how out of context she frames things. She will take clearly sarcastic comments and turn it into an entire smear campaign against the individual to whatever narrative she wants. Anyone that has a different opinion of her falls victim to her online smear campaign. These are people in the same area, the same county, the same town, the same school district. This is concerning when picking a therapist because obviously one wouldn't want a therapist that is going to judge them simply for a difference of opinion. It is also concerning because it appears she never even had a conversation with the people who's comments she screenshotted which means she was sitting there, reading a 200 comment post and just lurking and looking for "ammo". I hope she is able to get some peace and happiness and stop the foolishness. Remember the Golden Rule. I still bless her moving forward, but we will no longer be using her as a therapist. I pray to God that you are able to start treating his creation with kindness and maybe an open conversation instead of resorting to keyboard warrior on twitter for clout.

And I was warned that I "better be careful not to provoke his anger" when I told her I was afraid. She directly blamed me for his most recent outburst. Blame the victim who says they are afraid? Seriously? Our marriage is unraveling as a result of her failure. Counseling was supposed to help him, not give him excuses to perpetuate unfettered anger and outbursts that hurt our family.

I absolutely do not agree with anything this counselor did, a waste of money, she seemed more concerned with pleasing the abusers and making it easy for her to guide and coach the children before every visit. These children needed much more support than she could provide. Unfortunately, this situation is influenced by corrupt politics and their lack of financial resources. I intend to bring this to attention someday, especially once the girls experience the disappointment that I foresee. I pray that God does not allow this to happen again, especially with all the prayers being said for them. You will also find out that only the abusers were coaching them, and it's possible that you were manipulated by the abusers as well. I hope everyone can learn something from this experience. I have certainly learned a lot myself, the system is not focused on truth or helping the innocent, but rather on who can perform the best . These children will need many years of support to even begin to break free from what they have been taught. And we have managed to not only give back to abusers but give the children the incentive that it is ok for them to live this type of lifestyle. The end result is that they lied about everything, per this counselor. I'm not a therapist, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand the implications of these findings--especially without even meeting with the side of the family that was begging for your help. Plus other facilities that found evidence to be true but we got through into this county, and all evidence was dismissed for this counselor to help these children. It is very clear that these children did not learn this behavior from a TV show, but rather from the abusers coaching them before each visit. We are very disappointed in the service we received. Please be mindful when choosing. These children deserved much more.
