My family hired sea and sky productions to film my baby sisters wedding. We had used them in the…read morepast and had been mostly pleased. However this time it was a completely different story. The owner, Tim had been informed and hired of this event ONE year in advance. One month before the wedding he informed us that he would not be available due to a family event. In his place he sent two of his employees. Both of whom did not seem to have the expertise exhibited by Tim. They were not available and were difficult to find at important moments. All of that is fine and was forgotten Until My sister got a call from Tim 3 weeks after her wedding that something had gone missing (not specifying what). He then proceeded to ask for contact information of the vendors and the venue itself. One week later Tim asked to Skype my sister and explained to her what went missing was a hard drive. This hard drive contained the entire footage of my sisters wedding. So basically one of the most important times in her life has no documentation. As a family member I attended this event feeling completely at ease - knowing that it was being recorded by professionals. I wasn't taking cell phone pictures and videos at every turn because I was under the impression that this was handled. What Sea and Sky did was UTTERLY and COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Please be warned and do not waste your time hiring them for your event.

Sea & Sky Films videoed my daughter's wedding at a vineyard in North Georgia in October, 2012. I…read morealways thought she and her fiance were special people but Tim and his staff confirmed that by the way they captured the wedding day, starting with the footage of the bride and her bridesmaids out for a morning run and the groom and his groomsmen drinking coffee at his home, which is an apartment over a barn. In the 5-minute preview video, they showed the highlights set to music that even casual FB friends commented on with great reviews. Tim went beyond what I expected and I recommend him to anyone who wants something out of the ordinary.

Though I live in the Los Angeles area, a friend recently recommended Bill Shipley Photography in…read moreChattanooga, Tennessee for the design of my new company's logo. I had an appointment with a trademark attorney and realized that TM artwork should be submitted with a trademark application so time was of the essence. Bill contacted me the same day to find out my need, preferences and timeframe. From his website I see that Bill has been a Professional Photographer for twenty-plus years working with major sports teams and celebrities providing world class photography, branding, headshots, commercial art, web design and major advertising campaigns. Bill is skilled in national level editorial, advertising / marketing photography and creative design. We utilized Bill to create a logo for our company involved in the film industry. Bill gave us three very different logos, each having different strengths for branding. Though we originally conveyed a specific preference in look and type for our logo, we ended up using a logo which was completed different from our original concept. It was bold, modern and highly creative and all three options were given the next day after our afternoon phone conversation. I highly recommend Bill Shipley Photography for all of your business marketing needs for New York advertising firm quality without the "Mad Men" budget. He is a true Artist.

For starters, my venue was DIY in the middle of no where on my parents land. It was 2 hours away from where I reside so looking for a DJ to travel to my wedding location was hard enough. He was super nice from the very beginning. I asked to meet up with him a few months before the wedding so I could feel confident on who I was booking. After our meeting, I knew he was going to be great. Like I said above, our venue was in the middle of no where, limited power source, and hard to access, yet he was there on time and set up with very nice equipment. He was awesome!! If it wasn't for him, I'm honestly not sure how the wedding would have turned out. Every song I requested was played at the right time and everyone had a great time. His prices are awesome as well! Go with DJ Reid and you will not regret it!

When we arrived, the Sound Tech had everything set up and ready to roll. However, we ended up moving the dance floor to a different location, and he moved everything for us. Everett was our DJ, and he kept everyone dancing by playing the songs we'd picked out. He was accommodating by shortening songs when needed (our first dance song was really long, so he cut it when we gave the nod), and he took requests, which my dad definitely too advantage of (haha). The owner, Leasha, was great, and very interested in getting feedback on our day so they can always be improving. That's an awesome trait in a business owner. Thanks for your commitment to making the experience the best it can be.
