Asked for a better picture of damage/ scratch the said was identified but instead they sent me a copy of my contract. unable to get a physical person to talk to and no one is returning my email. Contacted credit card AMEX but they do not cover Italy as one of three countries they don't support for rental cars. I see why.

In our case, I noticed a charge for a few hundred dollars on my credit card nearly 3 months after the rental. They probably assume that people don't look at their card statements and overlook this. When I called them on it, they trumped up some crazy story about the wheel being damaged - this was a complete lie, the car was returned to them in identical condition. Avoid this place, unless you want to be taken for a metaphorical ride and be fraudulently charged for damage that you did not cause.
