Which signals mad skills and a dedication to pulling a cup that the barista would be proud to serve in a completion. I like that. Had a slice of banana bread. Tasty. The wife had a cortado. Never got a sip. So I am certain it was good as well. I loved how asking a question about the beans of the day evoked a conversation...an actual conversation about the origins and intents of the beans they sell. It matters. The food and drinks arrived very quickly and although essentially snacks were some of the nicest food we had on our holiday, the egg sandwich being particularly good, with its accompanying fresh salad. Did taste a bit bland. But recipes are different, tastes are different. It was good - but not great. Nice was the size, a really big pasty with lots of stuffing. It's really a whole meal for itself. All in all still a fine visit. The location was great, we enjoyed sitting down and to watch all the action.
