I got the #1 beef burrito combo Crispy taco Bean tostada Beef burrito with hatch green chili And my wife similar aka cart with a tamale Which had nice amount of filling and was tasty with a good burn. Pleasant ordering, quick service, quaint atmosphere. I ordered a selection of Tex-mex food (hard shell beef taco, tostada, tamale) and it was simple and classic. If you think you want something that has PORK, don't. They don't have anything that includes PORK! I ordered a pig in a blanket. Got a hotdog on a bun, nothing on it! Just a plain bun with a not that hot hotdog. She ordered a porker sandwich, came out with everything she didn't want. They brought our food out and I had to go back and ask for our drinks. We were driving from Colorado, on a road drip, headed to Oklahoma City and then back to Texas. We spotted Porky's Parlor as we passed through town. The clean outside of the building drew our eyes first. Inside, the atmosphere was comfortable and welcome. We all ordered a cheeseburger. The friendly staff and cooks did not disappoint. The burgers were made fresh and the fries were the perfect amount of crisp. We loved this place. A definite place to stop! read more

Wow, I'm pretty irritated. I go to the drive-through. I order a cheeseburger, some curly fries ice cream cone, and a Coke. They give me a Coke and ice cream cone right away then asked me to pull around. I do, and I wait for 20 minutes, watching them through the window see several customers get their food and go. I walk in to ask for my food. Turns out that my food was in a bag waiting. It's now cold! The taciturn waitress was acting like it was no big deal; yeah, I don't think I'm going to eat here again. I drive through this town almost every week, twice a week. When I saw that this restaurant had a drive-through, I was excited. I've eaten here once before, and it was good, but if this is the drive-through experience, I'm not going to waste my time. I ordered one of the Mexican Combos (don't be fooled by the name, they have a huge array of food choices!!) and I was shocked how much food they brought out. First came a huge basket of freshly fried tortilla chips. Then, a huge taco with all the toppings. And THEN the combo (which was two superb tamales and beans). Uh, I sent my husband a pic of the spread and made him guess the price (which, btw, was $9)... it was that much food Went back tonight and got the much healthier Harvest Salad -- which was amazing!! Cranberries, glazed pecans, cheese, grilled chicken and fresh pita bread. How could someone possibly be disappointed in the portion sizes?!? The service was great, too. Food was mediocre. With a name like Porky's Parlor and a pig on their sign, it suggests BBQ, not the case... although they did offer a pulled pork sandwich. After watching them cook a frozen hamburger patty, I wasn't too excited about trying any of their sandwiches. The special was fried shrimp, that was good and I was told the fried chicken sandwich was good also. Food was a bit over priced for what they offered. Might go back to try their ice cream, but that's it. Went back and tried their ice cream and fried chicken sandwich. They offered their version of a McFlurry/blizzard, I want to say they call it a tornado??? but I'm not sure. Anyhow I picked the Oreo, because the only places to get a good Oreo blizzard is mom n pop places. This place was awesome! Several large chunks of Oreos throughout the mix! And the chicken sandwich was flavorful, crunchy and juicy -perfecto! A few weeks later I took my cousin for a treat. Oreo blizzard was still perfect and he got a Reese's cup blizzard that he thoroughly enjoyed. I would have raised my rating to 4 stars but.... I went back again and like all good things it ended. The Reese's cup now tastes like the off brand and the Oreo is nothing but crumbs and the crumbs taste more like burnt marshmallows than Oreos. The only thing I'd go back for is the chicken sandwich, but I haven't had it since May or June -fingers crossed they didn't "improve" that too read more

After waiting for over an hour, i went back through the drive thru, and asked about my food, and they said "did y'all have an order?" they gave us our food, and it was cold and our ice cream was melted. read more

Keeps getting worse and worse. They've started to charge you for using a card over cash, which I wouldn't be bothered by if the prices weren't astronomically high to begin with, such as paying over $13 for two medium ice creams a couple weeks ago (before the card fee was even implemented), and charging extra for basic condiments. The food is okay, I normally go to get their ice cream though. While I do enjoy their ice cream, the price is just not right. It's good, but not THAT good. The customer service is hit or miss, but usually subpar at best. Really just on a downhill spiral if you ask me. They use their privilege of being a "fast food" (if you can even call it fast) monopoly to charge extra. read more

Every time I go here their portions get smaller, the quality of food gets lower & the prices get higher. I asked to talk to the manager & the owner (Denise) came & spoke with me. She was rude condescending and very snotty!! I haven't lived in this town very long but it doesn't take me long to figure out that I won't be going back!
