Purchased five sweaters for Christmas presents. Asked what the return policy was in case they didn't fit. The owner/manager told me we can cross that bridge if we get there because their holiday return policy didn't start until December 1st. Today tried to take one of the sweaters back, and was told the day I shopped, which was small business Saturday was a non-refundable day. Even though there was no signage on the counter, and I was not told verbally when I asked. Had I been told then when I was asked I would been more prudent on the purchases I made. I am now stuck with a sweater that doesn't fit. Will not be supporting this business in the future. read more

My sister goes to UW, so I've ordered flowers twice with Poppy's. I cannot recommend them enough. Both times I've called to order flowers, I've been greeted by beyond friendly staff members who are eager and excited to help me prepare a floral arrangement. They laughed with me when I offered my punny "note" for the arrangements, and have always offered extremely short delivery times (i.e. next morning). The first order, I requested no pinks and they made a lovely blue/green/yellow arrangement. My second order, I requested reds and yellows (photo attached). The arrangements are beyond beautiful and I get excited to order again, knowing that the final product will be beyond my expectations. From the absolutely wonderful customer service, to the delivery window, to the bouquet that is delivered, I cannot recommend Poppy's enough. I will be ordering again. And again. And again. read more

So my best friend moved to Laramie this week and i wanted to send a housewarming and belated birthday wish. i googled florists in Laramie. i am a bit picky from working as a florist in the past and loving flowers. Also, my friend and i always grow, share,and keep fresh flowers in our homes. double picky. Poppy's website caught my eye with their beautiful designs. Leticia answered the phone and was super professional, kind and understanding from the start. She patiently listened to my 'ranting' and asked if she could call me back so she could see if she had what she thought might work. In short haste, she had called back with a great plan. Goodness, what a success! The gift of both succulents and fresh flowers in matching pewter containers was beautiful and just what i hoped it would be! The floral choices made by the designer were not only attractive (lagniappe: always a good idea to let the designer pick the flowers; you will get the freshest, typically), lilacs and peonies are two of my friend's favorites! Called around 10am on 3/30/16 to order flowers for a cousin who attends UW and had surgery. The person I spoke with over the phone was very cordial. I provided only limited direction (About $65 total, no pink, bright spring like arrangement). I was told that the flowers would be delivered that afternoon. Received a text from my aunt that the flowers had been delivered at around 2:30pm along with an accompanying picture of the arrangement which I've posted as well. I called Poppy's trusting they would send an adorable arrangement to my best friend since it was her 21st birthday. She absolutely adored the arrangement and it was everything I hoped it would be! There were some minor hiccups (extra card charges) but when I discussed this with Megan (or Meagan) she fixed the mistake and I was more than pleased with all the help! This place is a great example of an incredible small business that has grown into its own hometown establishment. Nestled in the downtown area, it has recently been renovated into a nice open and creative space. There is a lovely shop with everything from clothes to candles. A true one stop gift shop. I've trusted them for years to create lavish arrangements and still continue to use Poppy's years after moving out of state. They are that good. The service and help is outstanding.
