Telefoonstad was super easy to find in the middle of De Pijp and I stopped by a week ago to ask for their pricing. €35 for a battery change, and it would take about half an hour, they said. As I was in a rush I told them thanks and that I'd stop by another time. I went there this afternoon, left my phone there for about an hour and a half before returning to pick it up and pay the small fee. It was slightly inconvenient that it had to take such a long time compared to what I had been told last week, but I understand that the amount of customers they have from day to day varies. As I picked my phone up they also told me they had replaced my screen protector which is two years old already, at no extra cost. That was a very cool thing of them to do, I think. There's an air bubble stuck in between the screen and the protector that's pretty annoying, but I guess that's not really a thing to complain about as it was all done for free (or included in the price I paid, perhaps). All in all a pretty good place to fix your phone that I would recommend to friends as well.

Very disappointing and concerning experience…read more The contractor sent by Mr Fix had no apparent experience. He was invited for simple tasks such as hanging a lamp, yet he spent four hours attempting the same task without success. In the end, he damaged a brand new lamp and failed to complete the work. When we asked him to leave he became aggressive. The contractor also behaved in a rude and aggressive manner in the group WhatsApp chat that included Mr Fix, yet no action was taken. Mr Fix took zero accountability for this situation. Despite clearly explaining that I was uncomfortable communicating with the contractor after this incident, they repeatedly forced me to deal with him directly. When I attempted to resolve the issue directly with Mr Fix, they refused to handle it and continued pushing me back to the contractor. To make matters worse, their CEO ultimately told me via WhatsApp to "leave him alone." This completely defeats the purpose of using a platform like Mr Fix. There is no customer protection, no accountability, and no support when something goes wrong.

I would not recommend their electrician service to anybody. They're clearly scammers who are trying to wrack up bills for people who don't know better.
