We dealt with these jokers many years back. Put a $2,000 down payment on a job that never got completed-it hardly even began! They were supposed to replace a pool liner, and said they could even put a built in step after they fact, something we were hoping to get. They will say anything and agree to any job, just to con you out of any money. If you show any gumption in trying to find out when they will come by, or in receiving a refund, they will use the sleaziest tactics, including filing police reports and even lying to law enforcement! They did this with us! They even had the balls to state that we ordered a ladder for the pool. Considering we put a $2000 down payment on an over $8,000 project, that's a pretty damned expensive ladder! Pool Mart is nothing more than a sham. If you enjoy throwing money away, I'd like to offer you a more worthwhile experience and just go to a casino. Or set a bonfire and burn it. The store is great but the service is terrible. This is unfortunate because it will also drag down the name of the store selling supplies. We had work done two years ago(a big job) and still waiting for it to be fixed and completed properly. I'm sad to say I thought i was a good, long term customer but being treated this way is not acceptable and not how you deal with loyal customers. My mistake in paying in full when it was "almost done". Now I am being ghosted and can't get the job completed right. Rob the owner came to my house and my neighbors in April had me open my pool so that he could install the heater one week later. It's the end of May now and he has changed the dates 3 times and won't do the job he committed to. First excuse was he was sick then it was I'm still not well followed by ghosting us. All companies are busy now and won't do the job. He is so unprofessional and a racist, he refuses to do work for Indian people calling them cheap and con artists. I have never met someone more unprofessional in my life. How is he in business, is beyond me and that fact that he discriminates and talks so negatively about certain races is disgusting. Lousy costumer service, we had to call them to ask when are they coming for a repair. They would say tomorrow and never show over a ten day period. When they came they left without talking to me, I had to call them and ask why they left without doing the job. They never did do it, my husband did the repair himself. Purchased a pump from this store. Turned out that I purchased the wrong pump. The pump was in its original pristine condition in its likewise original packaging when I tried to return the product the next day. The owner rudely refused to return the item despite its perfect condition and the fact that neither the receipt nor the employees explained this condition on the date of purchase. Luckily I easily resold the pump on kijji in a day and only lost the taxes that I paid to the business when I purchased the product. On principal alone I'm writing this complaint to warn others of the unprofessional conduct that you may receive when dealing with this business. read more

Unprofessional!!!!! frustrating to deal with. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Cancelled the appointment 6 times with us after I called to inquire where they were since they were already late for their appointment. Kept us hanging to close the pool for over one and half months. Rob is not one that i can depend on and you shouldn't either. Customer service is the least of his concerns since he is unaware of what that means. Though we were patient and understood that his business can be very busy, my time meant noting to him. Rob was not considered of other at all. There were times when he wouldn't even have the decency to come to the phone to speak with me however had someone else calling (a girl) to inform us that he would call us to reschedule however no call was made to us. I was the one calling to find out when he would be able to make an appointment. iI would have appreciated him informing me that he was unable to make an appointment.
