My previous groomer a lot of the time just mowed her down and she was bald and often had razor burn, as well as having spent alll day at the groomers. Pawfections takes the time to groom the dog and is careful of all the growths old Cocker Spaniel's get tend to get. The greatest thing is that the dog isn't there for 8 hours. She is washed, groomed etc and home within 2-3 hours. The groomers are a few $'s more than the previous groomer and then add on a tip but that's fine. Well worth the money. They also groom my American Cocker Spaniel who is 16yrs old and has a lot of growths on her skin. They have never knicked any of her growths and has never had any razor burn and they don't mind using vet supplied prescription shampoo I asked them to use on the dog. Awesome groomers!!! Give them a try

Also a $3 fee was added to each grooming without an explanation beforehand. If you pay in cash I believe there is no $3 charge. Never heard of a groomer doing this practice. It includes a recent stool test, vet records, and a trial day. The place also seems very clean with a really nice outdoor space that has plenty of shading. The owner was very kind and reassuring. She said my dog stuck by her side the majority of the day. My dog also seemed to really enjoy his time there and even seemed eager when he returned for a second stay.

Audra fit us in for doggy daycare without issue and Maui LOVED his time hanging with the gang! He came home wiped out and happy every day. The first day the owner greeted us kindly and our dog walked right in! You walk in and feel warmly welcomed by the smiles on everyone's faces. The kennels have there own private area for each dog to go to the bathroom so they aren't being watched by other dogs. There is fencing between each kennel so the dogs get to see each other. This place is on a dead end street so it has a nice and peaceful tone to it. They also do grooming. The owner does it and she is great! This is a small local business that deserves a chance! What can I say about the Doggie Cottage except that we are truly grateful that we found a place…read morethat our dog Rocco loves!! He always knows where is he is going the minute we turn onto the road. His tail starts wagging, he starts to whine, and he starts "talking". Lol Our pets are as important to us as our children...and we always made sure the kids had the best care possible. Rocco definitely thinks that daycare is his second home....we know that it's definitely his 2nd family!! He has been going there for the last 3 years, and I can't imagine him going anywhere else!! The staff is awesome! So friendly and caring. If a dog doesn't feel like "napping" then he is not made to stay in a pen...someone will take him out to play. The owners & staff have accommodated us every single time we have called-whether it be for last minute care or an end of day call asking "can he spend the night". They have never turned us away. Definitely the "hotspot" where all the cool dogs hang out!!!
