I am just about to have my post surgery 2 week follow up. I have gotten quality care since my very…read morefirst consult. Everything was explained to me in great details and I got a lot of paperwork to read over. I first had a consult with Dr. Bates and then worked with the surgery scheduler to find a date that works for me. I then did pre-op appointments to go over all my medication's and do some don'ts. Everything was explained to me and given to me in writing. Then came the countdown to surgery. Dr. Bates staff checked on me and made sure I knew what to do leading up to the big day. On the day of surgery I went to their surgery center, which was clean, nice and relaxing. I was nervous when I went back, but everyone was so kind and friendly. I woke up in recovery to wonderful staff members. I did have to stay the night but had a very cozy chair and a night nurse who felt like my best friend taking care of me. I almost didn't wanna go home! I'm home now recovering and I'm thankful I picked Dr. Bates and PVPS.

Michelle, the Practice Director, has been trying to give me medical advice for weeks until one of the doctors finally told her that's not ok. I was almost put at risk of infection during lasers because the staff here cannot get on the same page about anything. They do have beautiful buildings, and they seem competent at first. It doesn't take long though to see that their operations are actually a disaster, so much so that your health may be put at risk.

People are genuinely shocked at how natural and flawless everything looks. You'd never know I had surgery unless I told you! After a terrible experience with another surgeon in town, I was hesitant to trust anyone again. But after meeting Dr. Basile and his team--and doing consultations with almost every top-rated surgeon in Jacksonville--I knew I had finally found the one. There was just something different about Dr. Basile. His attention to detail, the warmth and professionalism of his staff, and the way they made me feel like more than just another patient completely set them apart. Dr. Basile was truly my knight in shining armor. He not only fixed what another surgeon messed up, but he exceeded every expectation I had. I feel more confident and happy in my body than I ever have before--and I owe that to him. If you're considering plastic surgery, stop your search now and go see Dr. Basile. Trust me--you will not regret it!

Now, I hide my breast that suffered multiple scarring infections and now are too little shrivel pockets of flesh I hide from everybody. I have to search out thickly padded bras just to have a little bit of a profile and clothes. My journey was a nightmare, and he always blames my body. Even finding out, I had a right breast full of silicone due to an apparently cut implant I had to have him removed after I was hospitalized with an infection. He never mentioned that the implant had come out with a tear or that he accidentally cut it during the removal. Maybe that was the reason for the serious an extended infections I suffer. I'll never get that time back and I miss my large if saggy warm and cuddly breasts that I gave up in hopes of having rest that I could wear a sundress in. I'm sure he does a great job on young women. I remember stopping into his new beaches office, which was quite a step up from when I met him. I think that was the year. He was the plastic surgeon of the jaguars. I ran into a woman about five years younger than me that was there because she had a tummy, tuck makeover, and the staples whatever was used to close. The incision got terribly infected, and she was going through multiple treatments in hospitalization. But she loved him. Everyone loves him. Just remember, ladies don't let any doctor blame your body because they don't factor in the risks and listen to your description of your experiences prior to the surgery. His PA jewel knew that I had thrown down some red flags that Dr. Basil totally ignored. Women are not cookie-cutter dolls. We are all individual. I need to be treated with the upmost care and respect and you need to listen to what we tell you. I'm sure he's learned a lot by now. I will always wish him and his beautiful family, happiness, and success. But my regret is a bucket overflowing.

My Mother-in Law had plastic surgery by Dr. Michael Falluco months ago & has the bottom left part of her eye hanging & extremely red. Although she is elderly, when her son (my hubby) took her in to see him today he said "nothing he could do about it" & referred her to another surgeon (Dr. David A. Kostick in Ponte Vedra). When I called to make an appointment there, their office rep advised he "was sick of getting referrals from this Dr. Falluco & his office as Dr. Kostick does not take Care Plus Insurance & never has." I called back to FL Plastic Surgery & was advised by Esmy that Jennifer would have to get with Dr. Falluco to "perhaps see if they cd find a doctor that takes her insurance." Very uncaring, no "I am sorry for the error, Dr. Falluco made an error & we will get corrected, or that "so sorry your elderly relative has to go through more pain & suffering due to our errors." Please don't walk, but run from this group! The long wait, non-caring outlook, & lack of compassion is certainly not worth taking chances with as well as your health issues. Will be posting on every review site & all of my Social Media networking to hopefully save others from this horrible non-caring so-called "medical practice." So sad... I was left w my walker in an exam room for over 1/2 an hour in a chair I could not get out of by myself. No one thought to check on me. I could overhear him thru the door discussing plans to attend a Rotary function that night. Doc Page had no clue what my condition was. I explained what it was and he said he never heard of it. Keep in mind he's 60. Another time I suffered a fall and he asked me & my wife what type of pain medication I'd like and how much? I was taken aback, especially in this age of problems w that type of thing. He's probably close to retirement and would be fine for a kid's school physical or flu shots or an older person regular visit...small town regular stuff. I ended up switching to UF North.
