A fabulous location. We managed to get a seat in the sun and away from the wind. Great view of the beach and the old remains of a former pier the sea.
Other than that do not expect much. It's your typical tourist fare. Fast and mediocre for the price.
Portions are average. The spaghetti Di mare was below average. It was edible but not memorable. Quite disappointing really. The seafood looked like it came out of a pre-prepared frozen bag. The prawn was already disintegrated on my plate. I asked if they could spice it up. They threw in some large chilli peppers which had no heat to them.
The garlic pizza bread was much better. Chewy on the outer crust leading into a nice thin crisp center.
Mark had a spicy pepperoni . It was ok nothing to write home about but what was expected.
We had coffees to follow. Service was so so. The kind of waiter that is going through the motions with a well rehearsed form of enthusiasm which clearly isn't there and badly misses the mark.
Still we enjoyed sitting watching the sunset in the distance. Shame the quality of food wasn't better. read more
