Has a restaurant as well with bathrooms! At the top where you park there are a few shops with fruit and umbrella rentals and clothes. The first guy at the top selling fruit is a jerk and asks for money if you need any help at all AFTER he helps you, what a scammer, don't buy anything from him. He was the first and only person in Portugal we met that wasn't nice. If you need to ask someone a question or for help don't go to him, go to the guys below him, and definitely buy stuff from the guys below him, they were very helpful and nice.

This is easily one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Europe and the best I saw in…read morePortugal. Underneath the cliffs, you can walk down a lengthy set of stairs to the beach. The shots from the cliffs themselves are the most ready for Instagram, but I'd suggest taking the stairs down and spend some time on the beach. It's a beautiful serene spot that is worth the climb up/down the stairs. As many have suggested, this is better for the young and limber given the amount of stairs necessary to make it down to the beach.

There are several sections that you can go and they all have the fantastic rock formations and are extremely clean. We were off season and not a lot of people, but if you are looking for a gorgeous beach in Lagos, this is the one. We had head Camillo was nice but we went there and it is tiny and does not compare to Dona Ann (and Camillo has 220 stairs!).

Pros: you don't have to walk down a ton of steps or go on a scary path to get there. Cons: no soaring cliffs so lacking in the drama of the other beaches and not so much parking. A great beach, just not amazing like so many other ones that are nearby. There is a little snack bar at the beach as well.

The west end is also is good for finding seashells. There are multiple restaurants and umbrella rental services along the beach. The waves tend to be higher here that Pria Porto de Mos because it's more exposed (as are some of the patrons!).
