Dr. House re-did all my dental work, fixed the pain, and spared me FOUR root canals. I can't say enough about what a great dentist he is. The staff is also great, from Heather and Lynn at the front desk to Brooke who has to be the best, most pain free hygienist I've ever had. Highly recommended.

I had tried to get her into another local endodontist and they blew us off, telling me to "wait for antibiotics to work". Her condition was urgent, with infection starting to compromise her airway, he immediately identified this and consulted with a ear nose and throat doctor. Because of his dedication to medicine and his patients, my daughter was taken care of promptly. I know she would have ended up in the emergency room with a compromised airway had we not taken her in and "waited another day". Thank you Dr Penberthy for your dedication to your patients.

Before even…read morebeing seen, I was asked to sign multiple financial and treatment-related forms, including agreements about non-covered procedures and payment responsibility if insurance did not pay. I was comfortable signing forms related to the consultation itself, but I did not feel comfortable signing agreements for treatment decisions and financial responsibility before I had even spoken with the doctor or agreed to any procedure. I politely explained this and asked to discuss those items after the consultation. Unfortunately, I was told I would not be seen unless all forms were signed in advance. The office staff were not kind or considerate of my request. The interaction left me feeling pressured and VERY uncomfortable. Patients should be able to ask questions and fully understand treatment recommendations and costs before being expected to sign broad financial agreements. I respect that offices have policies, but this experience was not the right fit for me, and I chose to seek care elsewhere. I do not recommend them.

It wasn't until many months later and much work done, that their purposely-elusive wording finally came to surface, along with having an internal policy of not letting the patient know when their insurance is actually out-of-network. Needless to say got stuck with an unexpected and rather expensive dental bill instead. So they too just turned out to be yet another unscrupulous north-Idaho business that has always gotten away with it in this notorious anti-consumer state. Kudos I guess.

They were very averse to causing pain. I felt so little as not to even mention. I have long considered them the enemy and have had few experiences that I could consider positive. Until now. I was in the chair for a cracked tooth. Dr. Hawn and Marisa,his assistant, told me what they were doing every step of the way. It was a communication that FAR exceeded "Open" and "Rinse" of most dentists. The high-tech equipment in the office surpassed my past experiences. The automated in-house crown production was amazing to watch. The crown was measured, developed, and milled by the computerized system that required minimal detailing after production. It only took about 30 minutes to produce! Far better than the two week turn around time in the past. Doctor Hawn and his staff are highly recommended!

I should say at the outset, I am missing a molar on the left side bottom that had needed a root canal but no dental insurance made pulling it a MUCH less costly alternative. Almost immediately during the exam I get the sales pitch for an implant. Then I find that they billed both insurance companies and got paid twice for the same cleaning and exam: a bit unethical to say the least. There are much better dentists to be had but in a pinch this one might be okay.

I paid for nitrus but the nose piece was set on top of glasses like old Floridians wear and It was too far from my face to get any of it and no time was allowed for it to take affect if I did get any of it..
