I don't typically write reviews, but my handful of experiences over the course of the last 3yrs with him have been phenomenal and memorable. The explanation of the process and procedures is so helpful as a patient. To be treated with respect and given an anatomy lesson to visually show the reasons why something is the way it is and how and why it needs to be fixed is refreshing. He didn't dumb anything down and was very realistic with what I was likely going to experience. They put my nerves at ease. - no pun intended! Dr Tim P is so funny, kind and it's obvious that he enjoys what he does- didn't seem like a job to him but more of a passion. It is very clear his heart is in it for his patients. Called the dental office back to tell them something wasn't right and had the receptionist told me to gargle with salt water, which I have been doing. I stopped into their office the following Friday and there was a surgeon there, but she was busy and couldn't see me. I was told to keep doing what I was doing. By Saturday I couldn't sleep eat or drink I had to go to minor emergency to get an antibiotic as I had an infection. I would not have had the infection if the doctor would've done his job and prescribed an antibiotic. I called them seven days after the procedure, I went in all of this is about 13 days in and left a message with no callback or response. I wouldn't recommend them, I didn't see any care for the patient whatsoever.

They were very averse to causing pain. I felt so little as not to even mention. I have long considered them the enemy and have had few experiences that I could consider positive. Until now. I was in the chair for a cracked tooth. Dr. Hawn and Marisa,his assistant, told me what they were doing every step of the way. It was a communication that FAR exceeded "Open" and "Rinse" of most dentists. The high-tech equipment in the office surpassed my past experiences. The automated in-house crown production was amazing to watch. The crown was measured, developed, and milled by the computerized system that required minimal detailing after production. Of course, we were thinking it was time. On a family recommendation, I called My Baldy Dental at 8 am on a Monday morning. They were able to see my husband at three. After a few X-rays, Dr House was fairly confident that the there was no need for invasive work. He was able to file down a small portion of my husbands tooth that was affecting his bite and the tooth pain resolved in 3 days. My husband was at Dr Houses' mercy, and was treated in a professional, courteous manner. Dr House approached the situation in a conservative fashion, and encouraged my husband to return if the pain didn't resolve in 2-3 days. I wholeheartedly recommend Mt Baldy Dental for your dental needs. I believe Dr House has very high moral standards, and is reasonable in his approach to dental care. I waited more than 30 minutes before being helped. During that time, I could clearly hear staff discussing office drama, including people quitting, staffing shortages, and frustrations about working at different locations. These conversations were inappropriate to have within earshot of patients, especially while the office was running behind without communicating the delay. They should spend less time gossiping and more time getting patients seen. I had specifically been instructed to bring my own films to avoid being charged for additional imaging, which I did. However, the office insisted on taking its own X-rays and repeatedly assured me I would not be charged. After another wait in the exam room, I spoke with the dentist for less than three minutes. He did not look inside my mouth and told me there was nothing he could offer me in terms of treatment. Altogether, I spent approximately 45 minutes to an hour at the office. Staff repeatedly told me the visit would not be billed and that I did not need to worry about any charges. A few weeks later, I received a substantial bill. I immediately called and was told it was an error and to disregard it. Then, several weeks after that, I received another bill for a different amount. When I called again, the staff member I spoke with was rude and contradicted the previous assurances without acknowledging the conflicting information I had received. Delays can happen, but the lack of communication, repeated billing assurances that were later contradicted, and dismissive response to my concerns were unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would recommend going elsewhere.
