4.4 . Kauai Waimea canyon and koke'e adventure tour Spouting horn Hanapepe valley lookout Hanapepe swinging bridge Marikos store shopping 1/2 off going out of business Lunch chicken in a barrel bbq Waimea canyon Koke'e state park Kekaha beach Russian fort Kauai coffee plantation Prob depends on your driver/guide Had about a dozen in our half filled van He was excellent on the history of Hawaii as is a native and told us the truth. Taught us to say Hawaiian words. Lunch was some of most excellent chicken we have had. Ice cream at plantation w sampling coffee was sweet! This was so worthwhile for the day to see and learn about Kauai that we wouldn't have done on our own. Thanks for the great tour!

The docks at the Riverboat.

Kauai Waimea Canyon & Wailua River Enjoyed this tour a lot. Our guide was Kana'e and she was wondeful! We also went to the Waimea Canyon, Kauai Coffee and the Spouting Horn. Too many pictures to share. You go and take some of your own

This company contracts with Princess Cruises for their excursions in Kauai. The driver (a woman with long black hair and a very sharp laugh - never introduced herself nor told us her name) was really really bad. She left us waiting for extended periods of time with no information, played the radio really loud through the speakers, didn't allow for traffic, and brought us back to the boat much later than planned when the line to reboard was crazy long. You'd think a contract with Princess would be really good for their business and they'd want to do a really good job. Not this driver! Quite the opposite.

What a great time! We did the Waimea Canyon, Wailua Riverboat, Spouting Horn, and Kauai coffee tour. Our driver, "Eaton", was very kind, interactive with his passengers, and most importantly, very informative. We learned so much about the island of Kauai, and were able to enjoy the views without the stress of driving ourselves. Our bus was a smaller bus, and we only had 14 on our bus so it was a perfect size group. Would highly recommend this tour, especially if you can request Eaton to be your driver. Definitely worth it!

We especially enjoyed touring the orchard, including the banana slap experience (!!!), and learning about different types of fruits that can grow in the Kauai climate. The rum tasting also did not let us down. We sampled different flavors of Koloa Rum (the safari and the Rum Guys are unaffiliated with Koloa Rum, which had a separate tasting room and shop on site), followed by a Mai Tai and an additional fresh cocktail. Bruce and Tanji were excellent guides and comedians, delighting my whole party, which contained a range of ages and senses of humor. My uncle was really impressed with their ability to read the room and crack exactly the right jokes to make all of us laugh. They were also incredibly informative and provided local tips on where to go (and where to avoid) next. Mahalo, Rum Guys!!

They shared fascinating behind-the-scenes details about the rum-making process, told great stories, and made everyone feel completely at ease. If you are visiting Kauai, this is an absolute must. Best tour we went on, 10/10, and one of the most fun things we have ever done in Hawaii. Huge thanks to the Rum Guys for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend.

My advice, don't have a strict schedule that is based around the bus times because the bus runs on its own schedule, not what is posted. Always follow where the bus is, especially on the weekends, because having to wait another 1-2 hours for the next bus is not ideal. Not much seating, but there was never not enough seats. I can see why they don't advertise the bus to tourists.

The passengers engaging and on one occasion a young man gave up his seat for me to sit down on a full bus. (Note that was the only time we had any problem getting a seat on the bus too! ) So I would highly recommend the bus, Am a fan and will continue to be a rider when ever we are on Island. Thank you for your service. And thank you for the wonderful App that gives schedules, directions as well as tracks where the buses are.

I was driving with my family up Highway 505 to view the Waimea Canyon. Since this is an extremely windy road with lots of switch backs and sharp bends, the speed limit was 25 mph. The M. Tours Hawaii (MTH) tour bus was driving behind us most of the way up to the canyon. After parking at the first scenic lookout, the MTH bus driver started yelling at me for driving too slow. When I explained that I was driving the speed limit, her response was that I should be driving 5-10 miles over the limit. Because she was being confrontational, but I walked away (as she kept yelling at me) to join my family and enjoy the beautiful of the scenery of the canyon. Returning to our car, we noticed the MTH driver pulled into a handicap spot, the only one available at the lookout. My wife walked over to the bus and notified the driver that she had parked in the handicap spot. The MTH driver replied: "You know what? Why don't you go back to India where you come from!" This infuriated everyone in our party, but we felt we would take the high road and moved on. Then I had another encounter with the MTH driver further down the road at the Waimea Canyon Lookout: the MTH driver was yucking it up with the folks at the fruit stand retelling the story. She knew I was easily within earshot and could hear everything because she was staring me in the eyes, glaring, when I walked by. I'm disappointed in the fruit stand folks for finding the "go back to where you come from" comment so funny. One last thing I wanted to point out: the driver was smoking inside the tour bus which is illegal in the state of Hawaii. It's pretty selfish to expose your customers to second and third hand smoke, if you ask me. I did attempt to call the company and even texted the number listed on the internet but did not receive a reply. Kauai is a beautiful location with many friendly people living there, and I won't let this incident ruin my experience. But it is disheartening to know that even in paradise there will still be ignorant, hateful people. For this reason, I would think twice about using this tour company.

You can tell they take their safety protocols seriously, without sacrificing any of the fun. The tour includes five incredible zip lines with breathtaking views -- you're literally flying across the same backdrops used in movies like Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones. It's unreal. One of the highlights was the 25-foot-deep swimming hole, complete with a mini zip line that lets you zip and splash right into the water. Our daughters loved it, and honestly, so did we! It was raining when we had our tour. The boat is covered and when you're in the fern grotto there are so many overhanging trees that we didn't even feel the rain. This boat tour was very relaxing and informative. The boat moved at a slow pace - even my husband who has motion sickness was able to enjoy this boat ride. On the way to the fern grotto there are stories of places you're passing as well as Hawaiian and festive (it was the holiday time) songs. It's a family run organization and many generations are involved in this tour. On the way back home there are more songs and dances and everyone gets to learn how to dance the hula. You get to disembark the boat and take a short walk to the fern grotto. What a beautiful place! So much greenery. The only way to get to this grotto is from this boat tour, so it is a peaceful and uncrowded place. We're glad we took this tour and recommend it as a fun and low stress activity on the island. It's good for all ages. There is plenty of free parking. Free cold water is available on the boat.
