Told me ahead of time they were still waiting to be put on our insurance co's provider list, but said we could self-pay. Thirty minutes and $80'ish later, we were walking back out the door after having seen the provider. Didn't feel rushed through like cattle and Dad was feeling much better the following day due to the RX provided. Only issue was one of the RX given the ins didn't want to cover. I prob could have called the office back and asked for an alternative, but instead just got a partial fill. So 4.5 stars, and that rounds to 5. Just please, for the love of all, keep enough providers and staff on hand to ensure your wait time stays reasonable. Area doesn't need another shoddy and understaffed urgent care!

I wasn't sure if she was calling out for me to come back but she stood behind the door and called my name mispronounced it and gave me hella attitude when I came up asking if it was me or not her response was "your the only one sitting out there" but she never came around the corner or nothing. She put up an argument and didn't apologize. It wasn't the point of mispronouncing the name it was the way she went about it, very unprofessional. I called on November 16th and November 22nd trying to speak to my provider about a referral that needed updating. I never received a phone call back either time. I was in need of an updated referral for a specialty appointment I have at Duke on the 30th. I made this appointment with Duke months ago under a referral that was active at the time. I called Primary and Immediate care back today, the 28th, to see what the status was and was told I needed to come in and see my provider to get an updated referral. Today is Tuesday, and my appointment is Thursday. If they had bothered to call me back either one of the two times I called previously, coming in would not have been an issue. So, I just paid out of pocket for the appointment I have scheduled on the 30th at Duke because they will not see me without the referral. If you value your provider seeing you as anything but a source of revenue, don't bother with this clinic. I personally liked the providers, but hated the way the clinic was ran.

We were tested in about two hours. Solely because they had a terrible system going on. But results back in 10 mins and the staff was super great and sorry, which is sort or silly. It's not their fault. The only thing the NEED to implement is the system to make sure the people who drive up are given a way to know who comes next. If someone came an hour after another but they got out of their car, they were helped first. I'm sure with time they'll either slow down enough or figure out a plan to make it work much better.

The final straw came when we ran out of a non-controlled medication late on a Friday. The specialist they sent us to was closed, so I asked Rainbow Pediatrics for just a weekend refill. The nurse flatly refused, offered zero guidance beyond "take him to the ER," and showed no empathy. When I said we might switch practices, she immediately offered to forward records--problem solved as far as they were concerned. If your child needs coordinated or compassionate care, proceed with caution. Behind the pleasant reception desk, this practice treats patients like numbers, not people.
