The combination of the large historic dome with the modern glass sections on either side makes it really unique. We didn't go inside, so my review is based on seeing the exterior and walking around the surrounding area. The gardens in front make for a beautiful view and a great place to stop for photos. Definitely worth walking by if you're exploring the Hofgarten, Odeonsplatz or Munich Residenz area. Even if you aren't specifically interested in government buildings, the architecture alone is worth seeing.
