As I was a bit concerned about the standard menu not having enough variety of selections, the specials added items I did like. I had the swordfish special. All food and drink items arrived within a reasonable amount of time. As extra items were needed, they were also brought in a reasonable amount of time. Billy and the rest of the service staff that assisted were attentive, pleasant and friendly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The prices were reasonable when compared to the quality and portion received. My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend and return. What makes it more frustrating is that there's an automatic 18% gratuity even for small tables. I ended up having to tipping $22 total, and for only seeing her a handful of times, it definitely didn't feel deserved. To top it off, when I mentioned to the head bartender (who was acting as the manager) that I wouldn't be coming back, he pulled $40 cash out of his own wallet and offered it to me to "give them another chance." It honestly made me feel so uncomfortable and was not an appropriate way to handle the situation. The food was fine, but the service and overall experience were not. I ordered the soft serve margarita but they were out of cherry so I settled for one flavor only to hear the server offering cherry flavor to the next table when they arrived maybe 35 minutes after we arrived. We placed our food order at 2:40pm. I received my margarita at 3:09pm. We received our food at 3:16pm. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was really good. The thick steak like fries were fine. We asked for the bill and it took about 20 minutes and she has to be reminded when we saw her walk by to bring the check.
