Great work following the law and if there is a ''no contact'' order on someone, enforce it as you did. Great work!

Webster NH Police Department - 7/15/20 Come with me to the dark side of the force.

7/20/20 *part two and final*…read more This decommissioning of the police force I have heard about will only encourage bad behavior from some unsavory individuals or groups.   I hear of this kind of talk and it makes me think of the movies The Purge. I haven't seen much of these movies, but the meaning behind it is scary if put into the reality of things. I have had unpleasant experiences with the cops, but I have had good experiences too. My wife and I ended up talking to a female officer  at Tyson's Corner Mall for a time. This is when more bad news about black folk being killed. The female officer (yes, she was Caucasian), seemed surprised that we even acknowledged her presence.  Some other officers joined her and they too seemed pleased to be looked at as human beings and not monsters. I don't  know how the rest of their day went, but it was like a breath of fresh air to be treated with respect by two citizens. Normally their day can start of civil and go to insane in a moment. I had had unpleasant moments with cops, but I gotta look at the good side they do. If I look at all the negatives two will undoubtedly turn to positives. However all the positives in the would can be ruled out with just one negative. I have no wish to look at the bad shit unless I must. I will not walk around with hate in my heart, because it not only corrosive, but damaging too. If you go looking for bad shit, it will eventually find you. If you are not looking for trouble,  trouble maybe looking for you. Either way, it's a toss up, but depending on how you handle the cards you are dealt,  you might walk away on your own two feet... "The proverb you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar means that it is much easier to get what you want by being polite rather than by being rude and insolent," but I leave it up to you to decide.

Can you just give the landlord a nicely warning about how she could handle the rental situation,…read moreand made appropriate actions to refund the remaining money, or respond to the last-deal phone calls of the tenants, so they could get their last stuffs? Since when that I said my mother was legally evicted? I told you that she tried to move out first after getting threatened to be evicted every day if she did not follow orders from her older sister (landlord here). You came and kept repeating lies and makeups: "legally evicted". "If you are legally evicted, then we can't do anything about it". What is role of the police even for? So would you only come when there's severe shooting cases, serial killing and homicide situations? Giving a nice warning and good talk has been so hard for you? While we were the actual vulnerable ones who had been desperately waiting to get a response and getting our money back. We called the police to come for help, just to hear they can't do anything and the blame was ours or "we have to court"? I did not expect to you to arrest the landlord immediately? Why would you keep saying "it is a civil matter" to avoid handling the situation? Why would the ones waiting hours to get the refund back have to take the blames? Is this how justice works with you? Does justice mean when someone talks and acts nicely with pretentious polite, they will not take blame regardless of what?

The neighbors (perpetrators), turned on their flash lights and shined them into multiple houses looking for movement. The Lowell Police Department showed up and tried ti ring my bell, when I asked to remain anonymous. Mind you that the people I live next to are not the most kindest. I have a child who is 3 years old. I'm in fear... Do better!!

People running through the streets screaming, someone on a megaphone yelling for hours, music blaring, a huge light show that it shining into all of our windows. So far they have sent two cars that have driven by and done nothing. I called back and asked why the officers did nothing and the dispatcher became violent, saying "music isn't important. Stop calling us". This is a neighborhood filled with retired first responders. The current ones clearly have no respect for the ones who paved the way for them. My question is, why am I forced to pay these IDIOTS salaries via my taxes when they don't even do their JOB, which is to respond and cater to the public. Hence, "public servant". If you don't like your job, QUIT. Losers!

For my 800th review, I'd like to review the Portsmouth police department. They have a tough job,…read morethey have to do it with inadequate resources (just my opinion as a taxpayer), and they manage to do it with a sense of humor. A recent entry in the police log was "Responded to a Xxxxx Drive bus stop for a complaint about people drinking beer and found they were drinking coffee." Another one was "Responded to Xxxxx Drive where a woman said her child's father's new girlfriend was threatening to post naked pictures of the caller on the Internet." Really, the logs are amazing. I've seen these people deal with countless situations and they're impressive to watch. The chief is working on his PhD and regularly meets with people in various neighborhoods to see if they have any concerns. I'm pretty sure that everyone on the force is better educated than I am. Every person that I've seen is incredibly patient and caring, even with people that are just begging to be used for Taser practice (I'd obviously never make it as a cop). Really, you should see how nice they are with people that get caught at drunk driving checkpoints and are trying to talk their way out of it, slurring all the way. There was a checkpoint set up just outside my house one night and it was amazing to listen to. During this year's Halloween Parade, they managed to get fire trucks to an alarm in the heart of downtown without affecting the thousands of people who showed up and filled the street for one of the city's most incredible events. Sure, I don't agree with every law that they're required to enforce, and I think both sides could do a better job with contract negotiations, but I'm not getting caught up in the details. These men, women, and even their dogs make me glad that I live in Portsmouth.
