Town N Country

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my entire life…read more When I first called this company I informed them that this needed to be expedited since I was not able to get my old mobility scooter repaired and I had no scooter to use. They promised that they would work fast. Constant problems ensued 1) I was almost never able to get through to the office. I was transfered to another state almost every time I called. 2) The manager never took any responsibility for the numerous problems that came up. 3) Every time I called or texted for an update I was told there was an issue with paperwork or something else most of the time. I would then ask, if there was an issue, why wasn't it addressed and why wasn't I informed about it. They never adequately replied to these questions. 4) When I inquired about another delay I was told they needed some missing paperwork. Again I asked why this wasn't fixed and they had no answer. I took my own time to get the paperwork they needed. At that time I was told it would be submitted to my insurance for final approval. 5) After another full month of waiting I inquired about why my insurance did not have the paperwork yet, and was informed that they needed one more piece of paperwork that was overlooked. I took my time again to get this paperwork for them since they didn't take the time to get it themselves. It was finally submitted to my insurance. 6) I filed a complaint with the corporate office and was given a customer relations person to work with the rest of the time. 7) My insurance company approved the scooter purchase and the company called me to set up the delivery. They told me they would be delivering a four wheeled scooter. I informed the manager that I was supposed to get a three wheeled scooter. She said she would order and deliver a three wheeled scooter. Instead they delivered a four wheeled scooter. I had them return it to the warehouse and asked them to again deliver the three wheeled scooter my doctor ordered. 8) The next day they delivered a heavy duty three wheeled scooter. My doctored had ordered a very heavy duty scooter. I asked them again to return the scooter to the warehouse and deliver me the correct scooter. 9) At the same time I was being called every day about a copay. I informed them over and over that I had no copay. They didn't stop until my insurance called them to inform them I had no copay. The staff calling me every day had been threatening to not give me my scooter until I paid this imaginary copay. 10) Getting back to the scooter delivery, my insurance, the scooter company staff and I discussed which scooter I should be getting for a few days. A vice president of the company got involved at this time. The customer relations person and I agreed upon a scooter and I was told it would be ordered and delivered soon. 11) However the vice president decided to get involved directly with me. The customer relations person told me that the vice president wanted me to call him. When I did this person started yelling at me and accusing me of things that were not true. He also falsely started saying incorrect things. I informed him that a scooter had already been agreed upon and ordered and that he needed to deliver my scooter as soon as possible. 12) I was ignored for another week by the vice president and customer relations person. I was then informed by the vice president that I would not be getting a scooter and that it was my fault. Enough said. I suggest you never work with this company. I am a disabled person and have not had a scooter for over four months. I will need to wait months again to get a scooter from another company. I am now completely debilitated from this and am getting home therapy to try to improve physically. Thanks Rehab Medical.
